hey guys,
I just had the worse day ive experienced in a couple years. Ive been a lil short on money lately, so my girlfriend who literally bust her ass gave me some money to pay my electric bill and internet. (Shes great, I love her to death). I tend to get a little nasty at times when I dont have any smoke, so she even gave me some cash to get a bag of herb as well. So today was my fathers birthday and I went over to spend the day with him. He was out of marijuana by this point(old nam vet) but I had a couple bowls left and we smoked them. At this point, I call a friend to try to get some herb. This guy has been shady in the past, but always came through and I had recently been spending alot of time with him.
So I call the dude up and he says he will see what he can do. My dad gives me a $100 to pick up some birthday herb and I was going to toss in and get a quarter myself with the money my girlfriend gave me. So when I arrive at my friends house, I find out we can only get "middys" for $70 a quarter.
Perfect! Thats exactly how much money I was given to buy a bag. So we travel a few minutes up the road and meet his friend, who had the weed.
Well thats where the shit starts, apparently there are ounces to get for $200 a Z. I start doing the math in my head, I have $170 bucks with the intention of just getting a half.
Hmmm, $30 dollars more can get an Oz! So I call my old man up and tell him the deal and its good to go. I would spot the remaining $30 take my quarter and my dad can 3 quarters. So I hand this cat that I dont know $200 and my buddy hands this cat $200. And he then gives it to another guy and tells us we have to wait there for like 10 minutes when it gets cut up.
3 hours later, no weed. We finally get in touch with the guy who had our money and he says the guy who we picked up only gave him $80(that was owed to him) and pocketed the rest. He flattly denies it all, and says that guys lieing. So now its the its not my fault game. So a game insues of ill be there with your weed, an hour later "Im on my way".....meet me here.....meet me there........ Ultimately, I just got ripped out of $100 that was suppost to be for my bills and a bag of herb. This was money given to me by my kind gf, and I got dicked out of it. On top of that, my father got dicked out of $100 on his birthday.
It was all obviously a set up, and I thought my "friend" would know better then to trust somebody like that. He kept telling me its okay, this guys cool.......and it turned out he was anything but cool.
Now I feel horrible, literally. I have this terrible feeling. Shame, guilt, regret, anger, frustration, rage you name it and I feel it. Its a sickening feeling. My gf worked hard for that money, and out of the kindness of her heart gave it to me because I love to smoke and I lose it! And I lose my old mans money on his birthday too. I was given $70 for a bag, I start to do my stoner math and figure I can use $30 of the electric bill money to get the ounce for my dad and I to divide up,I would be compensated back and it would all work out.
