OK , so i tilled up a garden spot about 50' x 100'........and these are the projectile points i have found so far. These range from 500 - 11,000 years old .........i'm ready to plow my whole hilltop (50 acre) to find more . if we could get a good rain they will really start to turn up.........!

first one appears to be a bone scraper. great find!

TT , thanks for looking , I've never found any before and its real exciting and addictive .....I also just yesterday found a spear tip laying under a big maple tree in my driveway .i have been weed eating and mowing over it for over 30 years .........there are 10,000 year old man made objects everywhere ...all you gotta do is look.

btw...i'm pretty sure the starfish one on the left if a projectile point ...they all are....I have found many scrapers and other discarded and broken blade type things

i'll post more as I find

I think that's pretty cool, I've always wanted to find an arrowhead, been looking before, but no luck.

They don't look very sharp. Probably wouldn't penetrate too many animals' hides. :beat-dead

Those are def tools we use.. Have you thought about bringing any local team out to dig the area for larger & possibly better finds? You could be sitting on a native "gold mine".

nice ones buddy, theres some good money in them. when younger my sis would always be taking my footballs and putting them in the trash so i threw her babie dolls in the garden, she noticed a "funny" rock and turned out to be a arrowhead which dad sold for 10 grand.....she bought so many barbies it was crazy and i got a fishing pole. i have about 25 from that land to this day and 1 a collector seen and noticed a blood stain, animal or human blood i dont know.

I would put 'em through a bench grinder and see if they can be sharpened up and refurbished for use.

My old man and I use to go arrowhead hunting when I was a kid, go through old plowed fields. He has jars and jars of them.

If you want to become addicted to treasure hunting and the like you should get a quality metal detector.I use a Whites DFX which is pretty top of the line but not used for under water. You'd be surprised my first few weeks just dicking around att the beach and a park I found 1 gold and 1 silver ring.I havent done it in awhile just depression shit I guess but I'm going to get started again.Maybe I'll go to the east coast of Fla just up from Daytona was thegreat wrecks of 1750.People are still colecting gold especially after a good noreaster.Metal detecting is a blast but a lot more fun in a small group
