Look at what is actually organic to see what you are putting in your garden. Cow poop, horse poop, bat poop, chicken and poultry poop are all gross but considered organic.

In the world of organic farming, none of the items that you mentioned are used with the possible exception of bat guano and even its use isn't universally accepted.

Applying animal manures that have not been properly composted is not allowed under CCOF, Oregon Tilth, Washington Tilth, USDA NOP, et al. There are forms of chicken manure hydrolysate that have been approved under some organic governing bodies.

A pile of cow sh*t sitting behind Uncle Ben's barn for 2 years is not compost under any definition. It may well be a number of things but thermal compost it is not.

One thing is clear, you do not need to use human crap for growing great meds. It is also clear it could be dangerous. Then it becomes why? To prove a point? To shock? To draw out posters to show how bright you are? scrappy

i would feel perfectly safe adding humanure biochar to the soil for food crops, its just carbon after all. any living things would be killed in the pyrolysis process 100%.

Human feces can be used as fertilizer to grow food, HOWEVER it should not be used. Asian countries collect human feces and use them in their rice paddies and gardens as fertilizer.
Human feces contain heavy metals that become concentrated in the food chain when the feces are used as fertilizer. The effects of heavy metals are shorter people from poor bone development, with central nervous system damage resulting in poor eye sight, reduced immunity systems and other ailments.
In addition, human feces can contain pathogens that can be passed on to consumers

Look, nobody that has an intelligent grasp of the topic is even interested in responding to this ABSOLUTELY CHILDISH nonsense. For those of you who would end up consuming your prions or some shit, then maybe composting isn't for you! :moon:
