Okay so i had to pay 200 bucks to get my medical card renewed, now i'm good for another year.
Genetics:Alright so i got two plants vegging right now, i plan to keep them as mothers. I'm not gonna lie i don't know the strains name, i've smoked the bud from the plants on multiple occasions and it is a fast finisher, a hybrid, and very smelly and resinous.
Gear:
600 watt electronic ballast, Brand new hortilux 600 bulb
Batwing Reflector
6" inline fan
homemade carbon filter
room temperature controller/ thermostat
digital thermometer and hygrometer
4 x 5 gallon jugs for hauling water back and forth from R/O machine
pack of orange zig zags to roll up doobies while i work.
Soil I've decided that its time to give organics a go. My first few grows were soil-less mixes that i watered with hydro nutrients. Now that i've been researching for a while now and got a couple grows under my belt, its my belief that organic soil is the way for me to grow. I made my own mix, its about 40% blackgold peatmoss 40% perlite, 20% worm castings. I added kelp meal, and the mycorrhizal fungus. Also i added dolomite lime at 2 tbs per gallon. I only mixed up about 20 gallons of soil, i'm gonna mix up some more later on. For flowering, im gonna mix up some bat guano teas. The soil the plants in the veg cabinet are in is LC's Mix with the blood meal, bone meal and kelp meal.
Veg cabOkay so i got two mother plants in the veg room. Which is basically a cabinet from home depot made to be lightproof. The cab is about 1ft6inx4ftx6ft. The light is a 400 watt hps magnetic ballast. 400 watt hortilux eye bulb.
Flower Room
I've been putting a lot of thought into my flower room. I would like to make something permanent, build and frame a room and insulate it, but that's just not practical right now and i've decided to just buy a grow tent and maybe later on make a more permanent a/c controlled room. I need the tent, but my plants are still not big enough to clone yet, so i think i will order the tent soon and start flowering as soon as possible. I might only flower 10 plants, we will see how things fit.
