Ok a little update on whats going on inside the flower tent, going to be making the flip if not tomorrow then Thursday. they are all looking very nice and healthy including the one in the PPK. It don't matter how much I trim her she just explodes new growth with in a 24 hour period, she is at about the midway mark on the rack so it would probably be in my best interest to flip asap I was just trying to give the 91 chem a few days to get settled into her new pot before I did. Here is some pictures of the girls all are at least 1 to 1-1/2 ft. tall and in diameter except for a couple of the more indica pheno's but what they lack in growth they more than make up for in fragrance. enough blabbing and on with the pictures.

Notice on the last picture how I tie the bigger branches from the back to the front where the majority of the light will be directed I did this with all of the girls so far

Here is some shots of the lady in the PPK the first shot was from the 13th when she first went into the PPK. The next 2 shots were from the first trim I gave her and had her tied up to the rack a week later on the 20th. the 3rd pic was from 3 days after the trim. Now the last shot is today the 29th from the the 20th till today the 29th I have been pulling bigger leaves that block sites from direct light. See how much she has filled in and all I did so far was add 3 gallons of water to the add back rez everything else has been taken care of from the PPK.

Do you do anything about the build up of salts and such on ya smartz or just leave it be ?

actually the build up you see is from the silica. I washed it out before using it but I usually run them threw the washer to get them nice an clean but that one didn't make the washer lol oh well next time. Yeah the ppk lady is going to be a monster for sure I am going to be making the flip tomorrow night.

I seen you are going threw some problems with the borg, I have this stuff with spinosid in it called capt. jacks deadbug kills adults and eggs. I have used it all the way up to the 5th week of flower with no ill effects. depending on the infestation you might need to reapply again after 7 days but it will get you threw till you can properly dispose of the mites. Don't know what to tell ya about the PM never have to deal with it around here my airflow is over kill for what I am running. Thanks for stopping in Alien Dawg

Yeah people seldom realize how much environment plays a major role in the final product. Having tons of lights don't mean squat if your room is not in tune. I realized this about 3 years ago after i started in micro after running a 2k watt flower room. Talk about failures my first attempt at indoor after years of being outside really tried my self esteem. I had problem after problem all due to inadequate environment.

After I stopped I started researching everything I could about environment and applied it to an 18 cu.ft. micro grow with a 400 watt HPS in vert. it took a little while to get everything in tune but once I did I started getting 5 an 6 ounce plants instead of 1-1/2. I did get the borg but I really think it was from bringing in cuts I took from an outdoor plant. after the plant was gone so were the mites. I would deff. get your night time temps down along with the RH, being out in cali. has it's cons as well as its pro's I am sure and night time temps and RH have got to be one of the biggest. Well today is day 7 since the flip not much going on starting to get a little bit of stretch kicking in. Had to trim the ppk plant back a little bit who am I kidding a lot lol

I lowered the light a little bit the HPS is about 8 inches above the tops of the plants but the MH is down pretty far into the canopy. I'm imaging the other plants besides the PPK one is going to take a little bit longer to start flowering as they look to just now be starting to mature and stagger so I hope I get a lot more stretch from them in the next week or 2.

Clones are starting to bust roots out of the stems in the ghetto cloner, so my next round will be a proper run with a nice veg on them at least 6 weeks under T5's I think I will be hooking my lumatek 250 up in the veg tent to get some healthy bushes for a week or so before I flip them we'll see.

I started a new job this past week also so I will be updating at least once a week most likely on Thursdays as that will be my only real day off a week which works out pretty well since it is the last day of my cycle week so today is day 7 of the first week of flower. I have a few shots I took of the five ladies I have in the flower tent so far hope you all enjoy.

The first 2 is the sour diesel, the 3rd shot is the 91 chem, the 4th and 5th are the jedi kush #3, the next page will be Jedi kush #6 it turned out that #'s 2,4 turned out to be males so I took a cpl cuts to make seeds with and culled them which is sorta a blessing in a way as I don't think I would have had the room for them. the last cpl shots will be of the PPK plant and a group shot in the tent hope every one enjoys.

also I got my on and off temps down to roughly 11 to 13 degree difference. My on temps are at 76 to 78F with a RH of 55 to 60% night temps have been 64 to 66.5F with my RH at 45 to 50% plants look healthy

yeah I am digging it also. The 400 is like 5 inches from the leaves blowing around it and so far no bleaching or ill effects. I will run the MH in the lower spot till after the stretch then put the 600 hps down low so all the lower growth gets blasted with light.

made a serious screw up. I threw my chart away with the spots my clones are in in the clonner so I have an idea of what is what but not positive I hate when i do stuff like that.
