i used to frequent NBC in nyc as a younger boy.
had an uncle who worked at saturday night live.
back when SNL was good.
met alot of the old school snl cast.
i also used to work out at a gym w/ alot of nyc metro area pro sports players worked out at occasionally.
played basketball w/ a few members of the jets and giants at that gym.
also did squats w/ ken danyeko from the devils (when he played)
even went and played poker at a former giants player.
he has been out of the league for a few years now.
i still, once in a blue moon, see him for a card game.
I told Every Time I Die they couldn't come backstage without a pass 'cause my friend and I were running the gate and wondered if anyone would actually listen to us. We were high, they were actually cool, we thought they would be kinda emo-gay.
I got ran into by methodman behind the big stage at Splash in Germany, neither of us were looking and that was it.
just last week i went to a charity event with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I almost tripped Heinz Ward in the lobby (i was sprawling out in the lobby chair, and he was walking and texting) and then i took a call later and literally ran right into James Farrior... i guess i'm clumsy around celebrities lol. But other than that, they were all really cool, except Ben Rothlisberger haha. He just exudes too much awesomeness for me
I grew up in a small mountain town where alot of movie stars and preformers have vacation homes.
My dad was friends with Patrick Swayze. Roseanne Barr lived a couple blocks down from my parents. John Candy (before he died, rip), that one actor who played Shooter McGavin in Happy Gillmore, Precilla Pressley.... Gosh there are lots... I sold a bunch of hardware to Tommy Lee once. Met Coolio in a 711, he was a total dick to this cute little kid that just wanted his autograph.
I've never asked anyone for their autograph though. In my home town, it was just something you didn't do. They just wanted to be treated like any other person..... with money. *wink*
