1. Most famous people are douche bags just like you and me.
2. They are 99% of the time not special at all.
3. They are among us on these boards.
4. Here have some fucking pie: :pie:

Damn I'll have to let a skeleton out of the closet for this one...I guess

Ok so I was once a scientologist...ahem...for 14 years...ahem....so I
got to meet or be around a lot of the celebrity scienos, like Isaac Hayes,
John Travolta, Juliette Lewis, Jenna Elfman, Lisa Marie Presley and Mom
Priscilla, Elvis had long left the planet and he hated scientology anyway.

Spent a lot of time around Jeff Pomerantz, he is one dedicated scieno.

Most of all, since I am from her home town, the now infamous,
Kirstie Alley and her entourage including some of the actors in one
of her TV shows. This chic is a good example of what scientology
can do for you. ugg. I bet you are running to your nearest 'church'
of scn right now...NOT! She is kinda weird in my estimation, but
my wife likes her. I have met and worked with some of her family
and they are good people, it seems.

Oh and btw I have been out of that cult for many years now, so
don't throw rocks at me ;)

I'd like to meet Yummybud. I'd take him out, and SHOW him how to get a woman or three! ;) He'd be a regular Don Juan after I showed him ze arts! But then the Yummybud threads would definitely change to topics such as "How do I juggle all these chicks?" instead of the usuals. :D

the only main thing i find wrong with scientology is that it tells parents to not seek medical attention for their children. The scientologist church here in Massachusetts somehow paid the legislature back in the 70's or 80's to make it so there was no such thing as "child neglect/endangerment" if it involves not seeking help from doctors because of their scientologist faith.
Some years later, a couple let their son die, never sought treatment, nothing. They tried using the scientology claus, but ended up being found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to like 10 years probation or something.
Funny thing was, the parents had dental and vision coverage and somehow THAT was okay....good grief.
I'd consider joining scientology if there's like mad chicks and money

I have met one or two celebrities in my time...

I met some of the Phoenix Suns players in Flagstaff , AZ after a scrimmage at NAU...I also met Shawn Bradley one summer at Lake Powell (Dude was 7'6"!!)

I met a director from Hollywood one time...I've seen Mel Gibson up close when he was in Arizona shooting a movie..he would run past our house every morning at like 5 AM...one morning, I was intentionally outside shooting hoops when he ran by and I smiled and waved and he gave me an akward "Huu.Hi Kid"..lol
