i use a cloths iron to fuse separate pieces.for strong adhesion poly needs to be welded.
Does the poly melt onto the iron or did you use some barrier like foil?i use a cloths iron to fuse separate pieces.
The poly is like the kind you would find painting section at lowes or Home Depot. Is it PVC? In that case it either needs to be welded with heat (as suggested) or bonded with a vinyl compatible contact cement. HH-66 by R+H will work. There are others as well. Used to mend tarps, pool liners, boat cushions, etc.
the iron will weld them together. I've never had a problem with them melting to the iron. they just soften up and stick together PERMANENTLY. to make a nice professional looking seam i put the two pieces of plastic across a raised edge like a board. I pressed firm and flat with the iron works great.Does the poly melt onto the iron or did you use some barrier like foil?

3m spray glue for plastic homedepot. I have used it many times even on my grow tent. theres a tarp like tape too but the glue always worked for meSo I need to glue too pieces of 4 mil poly. Anyone have any suggestions?
I was thinking using Hot Glue but I am not sure if it will stick to the poly.
