/\/\/\ hey yahnald, you can just vent it into the room the box is in. if it still smells like cannabis coming out of the scrubber, add more activated carbon until the air is clean ('scrubbed'). if it smells like stale air or something enough for you notice and be bothered by, then sure, vent it outside.

A few pages back you and T were talking about 1000w vs 600w and how the 600 is better. The reason it is better is that you get more lumens per watt with the 600. And the 1000 doesn't really offer any more light penetration. Therefore two 600w lamps would be more efficient than 1 1000w. So having this 600 at the back of the cab leaves you room to add a second one on the front end and use the entire space as efficiently as possible.

The babies are looking really healthy. And that B-52 mom is quite pretty herself. I am certainly sending out some positive vibes for those beans to get to you soon, safely. Happy Thanksgiving.

Khaleel thanks yo i wasnt sure if if was intergral to vent it outside. the AC set up is sick im def gonna try that out gonna get my cab set up here after christmas cant wait thanks again for the tips.

You are a smart man smoking! glad to see ya around, first of all. secondly, yup the reason i put the light towards the back is because i will put another light in the box. for right now i'll be hanging my 200 w compact fluorescent in the front, on the inside. this will give me more lumens, but also will provide a lower hanging light so i don't have to stack boxes inside my cab to bring the girls up to the light (when they first go in and are short). eventually i may just get another 600 hps. good to know it is set up to be a killer box. thanks for the kind words, i miss my girls already (haven't seen em since thursday morning - will be arriving home tonight). the B-52 is about to get 10-15 clones taken off her, let veg another week or two, then the cab will be flipped to 12/12 with the viper babies and B-52 inside. ok my brain is a little holiday-cloudy right now, i realize i'm writing in fragment thoughts lol but hang in there, i'll get everything up and ready tonight and post pics.

hey everyone, i'm back from thanksgiving! great time, good stuff. ok down to business, so i can go to bed. :kitty: i brought my floro back...

wow, that was easier than i thought. here's the new set-up (i need to get a new bulb for the 200watt floro now hanging in the cab, but you can get the general idea):



the width of the 2x4's was perfect. drilled a hole, started a screw, same on other side and wallah



looks like my temps have been fine lol



and the viper girls were ready for a drink, but not in any harm. good timing





ok, i got all of my gear back. i have the air stone running in a 5 gallon bucket under the sink, water filtered through a brita pitcher then into the bucket.

and my clone tray, a perfect fit!



i'll cut a hole in the lil veg cab and hook up one of my 4" computer fans to keep some air flow. then i'll be able to put my heating pad under the tray to speed up cloning. this thing works amazingly well. let's hope it still does. hahaha

i'll also be picking up my mix tomorrow. hopefully. if not very soon. in the next week. pay day is tues, i may have to wait. hope that first harvest gets here son lol

here's some pics. just gotta get a new compact 200w floro bulb and we're all set. i installed the 8" computer fan in my veg cab today

finally, i picked up my soil mix today so she'll be all ready when the clones are rooted



i'm forgoing the bone meal since the only perlite i could find today has miracle grow in it. other than that i'm using cocoa mix instead of promix or peat moss. the worm casting will be applied to the top of the pots during veg, and the guano applied during bloom. pretty simple stuff.
