Coba buddy,YOUR RIGHT ON POINT BRO,GOOD EYE!!!!!!!!!!

Coba buddy,YOUR RIGHT ON POINT BRO,GOOD EYE!!!!!!!!!!

Thats what i like to see, someone seeing what i see!

Back when i use to grow sativas,80's/90's..i use hide them in the palmetto's!
THEY BLEND IN SO GOOD....try this....i use to tell folks to SQUINT your eye's,
look at the pic or your plants outdoors next to them in the wild and what do you
see......a bright green blurr at best!!!
From the air thats all they see,if their lookin hahaha a big green blurr........
if your in the wild at your spot, step back about 75 feet an tell me what you see?
Here in FLA we have lots of cyprus tree bogs, right next to them will be plants
that look just like MJ,they will have little yellow flowers but at the time also look
like a budded MJ plant!!!....you'll see if you look, hit the south side of them bogs....

GG,thanx for replyin an standing up like a man an appaulogizing!!!!
No biggy missunderstanding go on all the time at icmag, but its how you fix them
that COUNTS!!!

Heres another shot, these sativas were grown in summer under trees, the pigs got'em.
You can see how good they blend in with nature....indics blend in great too,as a darker
plant that blends in around those cyprus trees edges an under trees their too.....
indicas grow much better in your fall/spring crops!!!!

thanks for the acceptance OLDpro...ok back to our regularly scheduled programming..

Does the summer heat burn the ladies so much that u cant tell the difference (potency/taste) between the different strains?? also is the 1st week of June too late put my seedlings out? i checked out "daylight hours chart" for my location here in central florida, but i know everything depends on the strain and whether its more sativa dominant or not (or does it? lol)...i still want to know from your experience though if i have a good chance of getting a couple of months in of veg before they start flowering..ive seen growers saying that theyve gotten 1/2 elbow yields startin this late, but also others that say they will flower shortly after this time...

with that being said, should i just put them all outdoors and expect some too flower soon and some to continue to veg to become "baby trees" im hoping for..this is important to me because i have A LOT of money invested is some GREAT strains, but i dont want to only get only an oz out of each plant..they'll be in around 30 gallon pots in the middle of a nice little forest of palmettos that look crowded, but in the middle theres a huge opening that gets PLENTY of direct sunlight...none are clones..all are seedlings...thanks ahead...GG

Damn lou's killin it indoors too!! Whut up MK good to see ya still round too.

more details/pictures on my grow shortly...i dont think i can afford all that soil (i will if its best though) so i may use the native soil there..then add im guessing blood meal, bone meal, perlite, and peat moss to make it a little fluffy so that it dries/drains better during all of the wet weather that im sure we'll run into...either that or some black gold with a bunch of extras...

pot sizes>>> is it necessary to have pots this big this late in the year (25-30 gals, they're free anyways)

any suggestions on what to add to the soil and on a good cheap soil that i may find locally? simplier is better!! although i'm willing to do what it takes.....thans ahead .....GG

Ok GG bear with me.....

First of all,good lookin spot!!

Next, let me read im stoned...oh and incase their is any DEA/FEDS reading,FUCK OFF!!!
THIS IS NOT A CONSPIERICY TO GROW WITH ANYBODY,ive done time an NOT again....
Your NOT bluffin or comin in my place without a warrant ever.
Sorry had to get that out.....and this is for entertainment only!!
Believe me folks..i was talking with a PIG here an didnt know it???????????????????????
Checked my PM's after a got busted and was told by mom about the DEA,an found nobody, that PRICK POSSED as a newbie?
SO be very careful sharing info with newbies with low post counts...

and that out,for the people!!

Now back the Q's......its NEVER TO LATE in FLA BABY to put out anything!!!!!!!!
Although the faster flowering strains like Skunk#1 WILL START FLOWERING mid july.
and they will finish up a bit shorter for SUMMER,still being plenty big but not pounds?

Next, pot size matters....in ALL STRAINS,the size of the pot always regulates the branch,
and height of the plants.....the bigger the MORE BRANCHES and the taller also.......

Ferts, well if you really wanna know you may think im NUTZ,but im gonna tell yaz
som'm.....in all my years of farming/growing the best ferts ive found at a regular store,
is Miracle gro water soliable ferts both veg 28-8-8 and Bloom 15-30-15 at a low strenght!
Booooooooooooom over night growth outdoors and indoors.....look at my plants folks.....
Also,my own homemade COMPOST!!!!!!!!
YOU CAN NOT BUY BETTER SOILS THAN YOUR OWN HOME MADE SOILS,well in FLA my
TACO TEK composing style published in Weedworld mag,and Treatingyourself mag too!!!!!
THats another story....i may mention?

Q' was:Does the summer sun burn the trichomes blah blah,DONT BE TO WORRIED!!
Just sayin that the summer HEAT does actually melt trichomes off,and turn the leafs
a pailish green, like being bleached out from the sun...yes the sun here IS SO HOT that
it takes the color out of alot of plants here in FLA,if i go past the April 1rst deadline,
all my veggies/greens will turn pail colored and i start throwing them in the compost..
WEED DOES TASTE MORE GREEN/GRASSY IN SUMMER you'll see,do the same strains
in fall/spring grows....

The strains will be fine, you'll see the difference!....uhuh newbs....its ok man we were all
NEWBS OUNCE!!!

Ok next rant uhuh,soils/amendments/easiest mixes,if you want an easy mix cheap, get
a few bails peat at home depot or lowes...mix 4 to 6 bags of black kow/top soils, but try
not to get a barky soil....no need for perilite, bonemeal, dryblood,or lime....

Ofcorse you can buy all those amendments but the soils mix may get HOT,an burn plants.
Less is better with CHem ferts......MORE IS BETTER with organics,it takes tuns of matter
to produce good yielding plants with organics farming/composting....and hard work.

Myself ive NEVER got any ferts from hydro stores, trying to stay away from them!
FLA their watched.

My Taco Tek combined with chem ferts is what i did for my old commercial grows!!!!!!!!
THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS haaaaaaaa cant beat that, guarrantied the fastest too...

Good luck,and be safe!

thanks for sharing your knowledge Lou. so lemme get this straight, for outdoor in the ground you mix peat and black cow and its good for the season? or were you saying thats a good mix for pots and miracle gro?

you ever do guerilla outdoor in the ground? my backyard garden is fulla sand and my vegetables grow shitty, even after dumping what i thought was a good amount of compost on it. month later and it's all mostly sand.

thanks a lot OLDpro....yea safety 1st! Glad to get respect around here even as a newb.. i'll be checking out my spot with a BB gun to look like I'm hunting for birds and squirrels!!! After the zillions of high times articles and grow dvds you STILL just made it ALOT more easier for me! I didnt know that Miracle Gro did wonders for ol' Mary Jane also. I guess its safe to admit that years ago i tried out some bagseed in a laundry basket with the Miracle Gro seed starter with 2-65w daylight cfls and those things grew leaves as big as my palms!!

Will the starter mix be a bad idea for my "good" seeds?

1 more thing....I'm pretty good at the languo around here, but what exactly did u mean by don't get "barky" soil??...did u mean the soil that comes with sticks and different types of little trash in it??....GG

Thought you guys might like to see just how politics works in this dirty mutha. This is a copy of an email sent to me by Steve Crisafulli, house rep. I had emailed him asking to clarify why MMJ was not brought up during the past legislative sessions. This was his response...

"I would be happy to explain the committee process, and I apologize if my previous answers haven't been clear.

Once a bill has been filed, it is typically assigned to several House committees that are tasked with vetting the bill to ensure it promotes good public policy. Whether or not a bill is given a committee hearing is at the discretion of the chairman of the committee.

The committees' job is to hear the bills, discuss and debate them, add amendments to make bills more legally/substantively sound, and allow the public an opportunity to offer testimony either in favor or not in favor of the bill.

The committee then votes for or against the bill. If a bill passes, it moves to the next committee, where the process starts over. If the bill does not pass, then it dies and won't receive further consideration.

Only after the last committee of reference has voted in favor of the bill is it possible for a bill to be placed on the House calendar, where the full House of Representatives can have an opportunity to vote on the bill.

In the case of HB 1139, the bill was referred to the House Health Quality Subcommittee, the Business & Professional Regulation Subcommittee, the Appropriations Committee, and the Health & Human Services Committee. The bill was not given a hearing in its first committee of reference, the Health Quality Subcommittee, so it never moved through the committee process or became eligible to receive a vote on the House floor.

I hope this helped answer your question. Please let me know if I may be of assistance in the future.

Respectfully,
Steve"

Heres the thing GG an,S...

YOUR RIGHT BROTHERS,the soils are nothing but sand.
i was talking about using pots just like i grow mostly, but yes
ive done plenty ground grows if you will, here in FLA we have nematoads.....BAD!
THOSE suckers are microscopic worms that eat roots,if planted in the ground
they need good soil amendments, and YES it may seem even if you did so that
a while passes an all thats left is sand again????
Your RIGHT,this mutha fuckin place has sucked up tuns of my soils only to run
strait threw the earth....and be covered by this ugly(cement mix) of a natural soil/earth.
NOT ONLY DO WE HAVE NEMATODS,we have bacteria in the earth that will ROT a huge
healthy plant to SHIT in a few days.......with NO HELPING IT PERIOD.
THats why i always try an grow in pots!!!

GG,barky soil means just that,a mix of bagged soils that have tree bark in it,SUCKS.
Acidic chunky no good soil.....like Miracle gro garden soil(sucks) hell in getting pissed
at that company, their soil mixes have gone to shit???
Even the best one(moister control) SUCKS anymore...its all PEATMOSS,use to have coco
shavings an good compost in it......went to shit the last few year with the economy???

GG,the starter mixes for seeds are good, clean an steril but keep them moist, it dries out.

One last thing, get your ferts both veg and bloom and use veg first at 1 teaspoon per
gallon water....every 4 days depending on pot size 1 or 2 cups right at the base of stalk!!!
THAT is after you have hardend them off 2 weeks you dont wanna feed babies an lock
them up...(burn roots stopping growth) 2 to 3 weeks an they can take this amount great,
TIP;outdoor plants take in ferts WAY BETTER THAN INDOOR PLANTS!!!!!...so after a few
weeks try an up the doses to 2 teaspoons per gallon.

By this time they are showing sex,STOP veg fert,go to bloom now at 1 teaspoon per....
then here is another good method using CHEM FERTS,i always FLUSH a MONTH or so!!!
THe thing is,plants have already stored enuff energy in them to continue fine,PLUS the
build up in the soil/pots will have plenty nutes left to grow and flush for the last month
of flowering!!!!!......the taste will be CLEAN as can be,judge it with other folks samples!
Even the best organic samples sometimes taste like poo compared to my methods.......
REMEMBER....the best of BOTH WORLDS organic compost and chem ferts=fast healhty
PLANTS!!!

If you'd like to plant in the ground, you can place a plastic in the whole before putting soil
in the holes so that that crappy sand does not swallow up your good mix........like quick
sand, dont ever put good mixed dirt right in a hole you just dug....it will be gone in weeks.
WHAT ALSO happens is that ugly sand we have,CAPS OVER the roots and water can NOT
penitrate or soak into the soil......it just runs off sideways an the roots remain dry under.
SUCKS to say the least....
i just lost 2 fruit trees to this ugly sand,1 rotted after babying it for 3 years
the other dried out from being capped over compleatly killing a healthy 3 year old tree???

USE POTS,another great thing about pot.....YOU CAN MOVE THEM!!!!
Placing shorter ones in front of taller ones....keeping them out of rains in a shed,
but MOST OF ALL not loosing your soils every grow!!
peace

Oh fuck me....I just found out that monday is a holiday in merry old england. Fucking A....

Blue Dream just got whacked and will be trimmed this weekend.

Wish there were some warm weather here...walking home from work tonight...it started to drizzle and 10 minutes later it is 50 degrees and I'm fucking cold.

Local socialist snitch club TV show called 'Crime Stoppers' has been handing out and mailing out scratch and sniff cards for the smell of a grow. It is so shocking that I can only hope that who ever thought up this idea has the good fortune to have their dick eaten off by rats before they are sold into gay slavery.

Thanks OLDpro I'm getting a very clear picture of everything, and i'm a very fast learner so even if i have stupid questions i promise ya that once i ask once i wont ask again!! Normally indoors i start blooming ferts a week after i switch to 12/12, but being that im new to the outdoors (which you've already learned),do i only start blooming ferts when pre-flowers start to show no matter how short/long i've been vegging?? or do i automatically start after a certain date? and also is this when i start counting down my weeks of bloom??....GG

on that note, I'll slow down with the questions...I just like to do things right so I rather ask a PROVEN master grower like you before I experiment and end up with ZERO BUD!!!...lol...even though the best learning is with trial and error I like to keep avoidable mistakes to a minimum..pictures soon!!...GG

is it ok to use chem ferts such some ff or an WITH the MG veg and bloom or is it best at "1 or the other?"...........GG

GG!

i would do as you do indoors,at preflower feed bloom....

The last Q i didnt get?..do you mean any ogranic ferts also with MG?
if so go easy.....your potting mix will have enuff nutes plus MG after week 2!!
Feed a few weeks veg, then go to bloom for a month slightly increasing doses.....as you
go...believe me you will have plenty buds!!!
Dont worry.....your taking it from a pro.....with to much experience!
Pics please, and HEY if you are going to dig holes maybe just burry the pots to keep
them cooler an moister threw the HOT summer!!!
if your doing it on a wild area, you better camo the pots/holes well.......
the worst thing about guerrilla is getting RIPPED.....that hurts bad,ive had THOUSANDS
of plants stolen after putting in HARD WORK/TIME/RISK an all.....
YOu have to have a good water source?....or build SWAMP TUBES!!!
good luck!

OLDpro.

the area im in is very dry. Maybe a couple hundred feet away theres a couple DRY ditches until the USUAL WET weather comes to fill them up!! Depending on the quality of that water I'll use it, but until then i'll be loading up 1 gallon jugs to take out there to feed the youngsters and once theyre bigger I'll be loading up 5 gallon buckets.

Hey also, theres a Black Kow "manure" and then theres "Black Velvet" by Black Kow which is the manure mixed with top soil..they are both for planting ...does it matter which one i get?

in the meantime I'm trying to figure out how much itll take to fill the 30 gals..

I'll look up swamp tubes and check it out. by the sound of that i may need a close natural water source and right now i dont have that..i guess that can be considered as 1 of the downfalls of my locationon...the BEST thing is that NO ONE goes here...its like an abandoned area, but I WILL STILL stay on my "P'S & Q'S" .......

also yea my plans are to bury them, and leave a few inches hangin out with some shrubbery around it to camo it...

on the ferts question..i was high so 9 times outta 10 i confused myself..lol...basically the MG ferts ARE the chem ferts you were mentioning....by reading too fast, i first thought that u were saying that the MG ferts are also good with additional ferts, but I'ma stick to those 2! i trust ya 100%..besides you have the experience and PICTURES to prove it!!
