Looking good once again Sirus! How did that "Black Spot" come about? When you said it I instantly thought of that hand in Pirates of the Carribean hahah :D
Did you figure out the cause of it?
Those trees are still growing quite nicely and it looks like you still may turn out with some awesome bud. Keep at it Sirus!
Can't wait to get some pics to match your growth :D
*Hopefully not the black spot though!*

Thanks for stopping by and the good words Clp  I'm pretty sure the black spot came because of increased temps. Once the ambient gets into the upper 80's the a/c can't keep up with the 800W. I will find out for sure once I move locals. Hope all is still going good on ur end. I'm gonna stop through and check ur journal tonight.

:tiphat:--Bro-Seph!
Good job...remember as a grower all you can do is make mistakes (to learn more) and get through tough times; (the black spot) (to learn more) to get a plant that looks like that. You are going to be so happy you made friends with that man, plethora of info in that mind!

P.S.
Rush just lifted his nose off the mirror and handed me the straw, he says(in the 3rd person of course) HIGH!

Hey JC! was wondering where ya been. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Yea I have to tell ya...I was checking out one of Unc's threads, and honestly I didn't think I had enough green boxes under my name to post! Good folk and defitinly a huge source of knowledge. Good to see you around broseph, I plan to grab some pics tonight. The ladies are almost 40 days into 12/12. I'm thinking another feed and then straight water for the last couple weeks to let them get some ferts outta the medium. Any thoughts on this? Is it cool to continue with the molasses or will that affect the final taste?

Hello Itry  Thanks for checking out the thread and the props. So far I really like the dual bulb, give me more options as far as spectrums. Its a solid reflector and so far no complaints! :good:

Hiya JC  I agree, gotta learn from mistakes made. I saw them today and maybe I am being a bit pessimistic. LA had no new black spot growth, choco had a few spots. BC and LSD remain clean. When I opened the tent all I could smell was cheese! So today is day 30 of 12/12, all are a min of 60 days per breeder if I remember correctly. I want so DG in the worst way, what would you guys reccomend for a novice from her line? See ya at the table. :joint:

Sweetest c99 bro-seph. Brain freeze looks to be another great one...Fool_Proof is more like it with the genetics she used...both are bulletproof like toyota used to be.
That is why I bought two packs of sweetest 99 and the brain freeze as well...can't wait to get them into rotation. Almost there...anyway...
1st choice sweetest 99 are the beans I gave to my buddy who is growing his own medicine. He is just starting up and trying to remember how he did it 10 yrs ago. I may be able to post some pics of his garden soon....but again, you will not go wrong with the sweetest 99/brain freeze...shit, just the 99 she put up in the GN collection as well. 99 has never done me wrong...toyota of pot plants bro_seph!:tiphat:
See ya at the round table for a phat one. :joint:

On a side note, I wondered with the genetics (i actually did some research on them) list you posted up how you would do with your 1st grow. A newb should def try something easier to grow. Soooo, (i'm almost done bro;i'm baked so let me roll with it ;) ) what I am trying to say here is that you have done a great job and will only get better...like a bottle of wine. ;)
I will never let go of c99...imo anything crossed with it, if it is of proper selection is a winner bro.

JC I hear ya mang, and I hope you are correct with your predictions ;) I thought I grabbed the easy strains, but I have to say...they advertised Chocolope as a nute beast that can take a newbs loving touch..I wanna call them bishes and let them know she couldn't even take a little N toxicity without curling her leaves!! :asskick: But in all realness, thanks for the encouragment. :tiphat:

So little update with this post as well. I use the "fuzzy math" model and according to my figures the ladies are 10w 2d above soil and 38th day of 12/12. I'm hopeing they will continue to grow, I read somewhere that the last 2 weeks my ladies can see a lot of growth. I checked trichs today and they are cloudy with clear tops noted throughout, another 2-3 weeks maybe??

i would think till week 8 on most of those, with a flush starting on week 7 if not before....its another personal choice is what it comes to,if you have time, maybe multi harvest and figure out how you like your bud, sometimes letting it go longer will increase the couchlock effect, sometimes the same strain picked early will have a different buzz all together

1st off! Blue cheese looks like the serious sirus keeper outta the bunch bro!
2nd!
Chocolope...as a long time lurker of this site and having friends on this site, I have to say to you since you are new to the site, but a few yrs back those guys were banned from here and shit removed (seed forum seed stock I imagine too) etc for mis-rep of genetics! As in CAN'T BE TRUSTED. That's one thing that GN (president of the web site) does not seem to take that well, so he booted them. After the shit I have read myself and heard I would not trust those guys.:tiphat:

Sirus.. nice lookin stuff mon.. I was very interested to see your LA Woman.. I have on going right now that is MUCH different looking than yours. HUGE extremely dark leaves. Seems to be a 10 weeker or so for flowering.. it's been going for about 8 now and don't even look close to being done. I have another DNA strain, Rocklock, going right now that is looking amazing. HUGE main cola with some nice strong side branching. Anyway.. nice stuff.. good luck!

imoe it depends upon how hot my soil is going into flush. i do not mind at all letting some of the room come down sooner and some of it come down later because of the difference in high as well...:tiphat:

Unc...JC... thx for the input and much respect :tiphat: MGK thanks for stopping thru bro  Unfortunatly I had to chop LA's huge friggin fan leaves due to the "black spot", if you check my album I'm pretty sure I have some pics of her ginormous leaf sets. I also noticed a very dark green appearance during veg and the beginning of flower...I had just attributed it to overfeeding of N, but maybe its in the jeans. Rocklock looked very nice on the seed bank site, do you have a journal going? I would like to see your pics of LA Woman.

I think I may just start doing straight distilled for the remainer. Next in rotation is H2o and molasses, so if I go one more feed thats gonna put me around day 47'ish and I want to have a couple weeks of straight H2o so the taste is where it needs to be. I plan to cure for 6-8 weeks before partaking and I want the true flavor to be present. :greenstars:

When doing the "flush" does the molasses make a difference or should I just do straight distilled?

I don't have a journal going, but I do have a lot of pictures in my gallery. I don't usually take a lot of pictures while they're in my closet as I hate the HPS yellow all those pics show. I usually do take several shots on chop night when I get them out of that light. There are some, but I've kinda abandoned the HPS pics. I am going to harvest my Rocklock this weekend, so you might want to check sometime Saturday or Sunday. The LA Woman won't be coming out for another 2 weeks at least. I think I got one of the slower developing phenos. I use Clearex for my flush.. seems to work fine.. but I'm not married to it.

Hey mgk, I will check your gallery this weekend. Gotta love bud porn :joint: I still undecided weither to start flushing now or not, I think I will feed one more time and harvest at 60 days. I'm gonna chop everything at one time so I can get everything cleaned up and start the move to my new local.

Sound advice mgk :tiphat: I have defitinly had to show restraint in about every department with this grow. I want to love them to death!!

Started my 2 week straight distilled flush today, day 40 12/12. I will let them go a little past 56 days since I need a day off to make the chop. I was checking BC today with a piece of an old microscope, not sure but I'm guessing 20x, I noticed amber trichs already. It seems like a mixture of clear/cloudy/amber. I have a 60x pocket scope but I can never get a good look at the trichs with it. I plan to watch her closely since I don't want her to end up all amber.

Amber is usually a good sign that she's ready! U R so excited right now aren't u bro-seph!!!

Im sooooo ready to get on with the next step!! I'm gonna keep watching her over the next week, if she starts getting too much amber I'm gonna chop her down. I'm also holding my breath that she will plump out a bit more.:dance013:

So I went to the site to check out what Barney's Farm had to say about their genetics...supposed to be an 8 to 10 wk strain that takes a purple-ish blue appearance when ready for harvest. I prolly got the pheno that don't change colors..but just like Kraft, it's the cheeseiest!!
