I want to let you read this beautiful ancient African story from a zulu sangoma, maybe you can think about it.

"I would like to tell you an ancient African story of how the birds saved the world. And I assure you that this story has unbelievable implications....
So in the distant days, many centuries before man appeared on the planet, Birds and animals were the master lords of creation.
They governed the world, and the gods had given them the gift of the word, which was lost as soon as humans arrived.
It is said that drought reigned for years.
Animals and birds did not even remember how beautiful the rainy days were, because drought lasted for several generations.
The birds came out of their newly-opened eggs, growing and dying without ever sniffing the scent of rain falling on the forests and plains of that land invaded by the sand.
The situation remained immutable for so many years that at the end of the world the boss of all the birds the great vulture summoned an immense meeting with all the birds of the earth.
The birds gathered to thousands on the slopes of the great
mountain called Kilima-Njaro, darkening even the skies.
The Vulture r stood up and said,
"Drought lasts for so long that I feel it's time to act.
We birds have to send an emissary on the land of the gods in the sky, so that he may refer our desperate request to the great lords of the heavens.
Now I call the Owl, the wisest of all the birds, the one who sees through the darkness. Come to my sight and see how we can reach the gods.
The owl rose and turned his head to one side and the other, staring at all the present with his huge golden eyes, and in the end proposed the project to the big vulture.
After examining the project in the smallest details and since it was the Emperor with whom no one could discuss, ruled
"I the lord of all the birds,I decided that we will done as the owl said!" "come ahead, bald eagle!" A huge white hooded eagle advanced, going to stand in front of the vulture that ordered her to open her wings. The bird obeyed.
"come ahead Pigeon, climb the eagle and open your wings! "
The pigeon hurried to execute the order.
At that point the vulture called the swallow, and told her to climb on the pigeon's back and widen her wings.
With a quick leap the bird obeyed, and the sovereign gave all three of the last instructions.
"I order you to fly to the land of the gods, traveling on top of each other as you are now! Go!"
The eagle then moved in motion, on the mighty wings and carrying the pigeon, over which the swallow was on its back.
The three animals rose to the sky beyond the clouds and went into the darkness, continuing to fly, fly and fly.
The eagle advanced until his mighty wings tired.
And so, with the swallow firmly on his back, the pigeon jumped from the shoulders of the eagle, who had fulfilled his function so far, he glided to the ground
The pigeon flew and flew, climbing higher and higher, until the heart suddenly stopped blowing, his wings lost strength and he rushed.
It was then the swallow to make the last part of the journey, to reach the great village of the father of heaven and to lend it to
him, asking him to grant rain to thirsty and dying land.
It was discovered that the great god of heaven had slept for all those years, and being asleep had allowed the clouds to move away from the sky and to the rain not to fall.
As soon as he realized what had happened, he played a trumpet and called all the clouds, making them come from every corner of the planet and causing a rain that lasted for days and nights.
The world resumed and turned green, the swallow returned to his wife and children, acclaimed by the other birds.
Even today some tribes of South Africa worship the swallow and never harm them, indeed, if they see a trapped one, they release and heal their wounds, letting them go on his way,
And this appened as result to this wonderful story, telling how three birds flew one on up of the other to bring back the rain.
My dear friends, this is a story about distant and remote lands, and it may seem simple and childish:

The movement to free up the weed is growing, thanks in large part to an ever-growing body of scientific research disproving the U.S. government’s assertion that cannabis has no medical value. Research has proven that medical cannabis has a positive effect in the prevention and treatment of cancer, as well as having a clear benefit for seizure patients.
The benefits of cannabis on the human brain are still being outlined by medical research, and in a recent study, scientists at the University of Bonn concluded that it can help reverse the aging process in the brain.
Commenting on the study, Dr. Rhonda Patrick, who has ‘extensive research experience in the fields of aging, cancer, nutrition.’ Her research and work is largely devoted to nutrition rather than the study of cannabis specifically, offering an impartial look at the health benefits of cannabis.
“Low dose THC from cannabis reverses the aging process in the brain. 12-and 18-month old mice that were given a low dose of THC daily for 4 weeks performed as well as 2-month old control mice on learning and memory tests. The THC treatment completely reversed the loss of performance in the old animals.
The mechanism is still unclear. Other studies have found that THC helps clear away amyloid beta plaques from the brain. Additionally, cannabinoids bind to specific receptors called cannabinoid receptors in neurons as well as on immune cells. It is possible that there are multiple mechanisms at play.” [Source]
The study examined the effects of THC on certain mice, noting that aging mice saw a return the brain function of their much younger counterparts:
“This was shown in mice by scientists at the University of Bonn with their colleagues at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Israel). Old animals were able to regress to the state of two-month-old mice with a prolonged low-dose treatment with a cannabis active ingredient.” [Source]
Speaking to the significance of this finding, Eureka Alert makes the following comment:
“Like any other organ, our brain ages. As a result, cognitive ability also decreases with increasing age. This can be noticed, for instance, in that it becomes more difficult to learn new things or devote attention to several things at the same time. This process is normal, but can also promote dementia. Researchers have long been looking for ways to slow down or even reverse this process.” [Source]
Regarding the outcome of this study, Professor Andreas Zimmer from the Institute of Molecular Psychiatry at the University of Bonn remarked that, “the treatment completely reversed the loss of performance in the old animals.” And while there is certainly a gap to bridge between mice and humans, the study offers promise in the future development of dementia treatments, a discovery that some in this field find rather exciting.
“The promotion of knowledge-led research is indispensable, as it is the breeding ground for all matters relating to application. Although there is a long path from mice to humans, I feel extremely positive about the prospect that THC could be used to treat dementia, for instance.” ~Svenja Schulze, Science Minister at The North Rhine-Westphalia
Final Thoughts
Any new research into this natural, non-chemical, and easy to grow plant medicine ultimately contributes to the case against the U.S. DEA’s classification of cannabis as a schedule I drug.
