Let's hope you're right, but it looks different:

And consider the disease is slowly. Incubation time is up to 14 days, then one week slightly symptoms, then getting worse and worse, after five weeks many need intensive care. There are so many cases in China simply because they had more time to develop symptoms.

Same thing happened during SARS. Coupla people always lose their heads. Pathogens come and go. Even the deadly ones are quickly forgotten. Spanish flu wasn't that long ago and stacked bodies like it was sport but I bet less than 1/4 know about it.

SAR's, such a fond family memory lol. I think we were on vacation for one of the school breaks and while the plane on the tarmac getting ready to take off, my dad starts having a coughing fit. Half the plane thought he was infected and we had to assure people around us that he had a shitty cigarette habit hahah. Hysterics at its finest!

SARS was different, because infected people began to be contagious when the first symptoms appeared. When it's like this the disease can be contained. But now infected people have no symptoms but are contagious. I don't lose my head. I'm VERY concerned and I hope you are right and I am wrong. But I find you speak very easily about the Spanish Flu which killed more people than WWI.

Spanish flu
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanish_flu

"It infected 500 million people around the world,[2] including people on remote Pacific islands and in the Arctic. The death toll is estimated to have been 50 million, and possibly as high as 100 million (three to five percent of Earth's population at the time), making it one of the deadliest epidemics in human history."

My prediction: nCoV will come for sure all over the planet. And it will not disappear, you can get reinfected again and again and vaccinations will be as effective like the influenza vaccines: It will not protect you 100%, but only 60 - 80%,

And the first thing which will collapse is the economy.

And I still hope you are right and I am wrong and I just lose my head.

Spanish Flu died out on its own. The thought is that it mutated is way out of human susceptibility. Viruses do this all the time. It's more difficult, in the extreme, for a virus to mutate into humans than it is to mutate out. Like a lottery, there are only a few winners in the huge pool of permutations (not combinations).

Mask manufacturers must be cleaning up - so long as they can keep up with demand - and now we are told that these masks don't really add any real protection -

So millions/billions will all buy a useless mask - still could be good for downtown Delhi - or most major cities - as a smog mask -

Moving the wife and kids out of Bangkok this week. Sending them up north in the jungle (LOL) to stay with the mother in-law. Sucks taking the kids out of school but I don't trust the Thai government. They have yet to stop flights from China for fear of losing Bhat... And the amount of Chinese tourist all over Sukhumabumi airport on any given day is insane. Also the news out of Thailand reguarding the situation is quiet other than them stating they have had good results fighting severe cases of coronovirus. Using a cocktail of flu and HIV drugs.

Colloidal Silver?

The doctors from Rajavithi Hospital in Bangkok said a new approach in coronavirus treatment had improved the condition of several patients under their care, including one 70-year-old Chinese woman from Wuhan who tested positive for the coronavirus for 10 days.
The drug treatment includes a mixture of anti-HIV drugs lopinavir and ritonavir, in combination with flu drug oseltamivir in large doses.
“This is not the cure, but the patient’s condition has vastly improved. From testing positive for 10 days under our care, after applying this combination of medicine the test result became negative within 48 hours,” Dr. Kriangska Atipornwanich, a lung specialist at Rajavithi, told reporters.

along with some fresh 2019 flowers.

And some good Stoner TV translated into Chinese. :peacock:

Instead of "let them eat Cake"

Let them Smoke Jack the Ripper

How does a scarf, or gym towel in a pinch, worn around your face work, compared to the N95 masks ?
