If you do have a licence .DO NOT sign up for an LP. Keep growing or you lose it.
And Never go over your numbers...or you lose it.
HOLD it tight.
And have at it!
Having held DG#1 It will be as follows....
Judge make descision.....Allow current Growers to grow. Get all new applicants to buy from LP's.
Gov't happy....All new ones have to do the new rules. Big Biz get the molah.
Old growers happy..... they get to keep growing.
JUDGES happy (You know how they hate to challenge each other) the first judge make right descision and they all get to follow suit. Baaaaa
Everyone happy.
Eventually it all get legit.
Capiche?

If they are going to allow old patients to keep growing based on a constitutional challenge RE:the price of access to meds then they wont be able to grandfather older patients and not allow new ones to obtain licenses to grow, the constitution cant have grandfather clauses or be unequally applied to citizens of the country.
I have to agree with "GodsCronik"...It is unconstitutional to grandfather the original MMAR patients and not allow new patients under financial distress the same opportunity because it will cause them irreparable harm as well. Irreparable harm do to financial distress is one of the main reasons the injunction was even granted.
The proper thing for Heath Canada to do is allow all the eligible MMAR patients to continue self production and implement a new program that allows all new patients that are also under financial distress a place to make application for a home production license. This would allow all those that can't afford to buy from LP's the right to grow there Medical MJ and those not under financial distress and capable of purchasing from LP's to buy there Medical MJ from the Licensed Producer's. Putting this new program into force before the Constitutional Challenge's hearing date of Feb. 15, 2015.
But unfortunately Heath Canada has never done the proper thing, where Medical MJ is concerned.
IMHO...I believe the judges will have no choice but to side with Constitution and the patients. The Constitution is the law of, and for, the Canadian people and the basis for all beliefs for judges and lawyers alike. But they will also feel a loyalty to the federal government as well, putting them in a vicarious position...damned if they DO and damned if they DON'T.
This is just my opinion, but I predict, the judges will make everyone happy government and patient. With "Grandfathering" of all old and eligible MMAR patients, with the "Grandfathering" being attached to the existing address. This will allow all the old patients to continue self supply until they move, and will also insure the government that eventually there will be no one growing there own Medical MJ in Canada. It will also insure the MMPR program to continue, eventually becoming the successful program Heath Canada in visioned.
I would like to see the judges act without bias, and the government to do the right thing for all the patients of Canada, but I have been alive long enough to know better.
Here's too...Crossing our fingers, with hopes that I am proven wrong.

Granted there are some lazy people out there, who would rather sit on the sofa and eat bon bons all day, but laziness is not a condition it's a choice. I have no respect for laziness, lazy people are just floating along in life, expecting other people to provide for them. You only get back in life what you put into it. Not much of a life at all, and not very rewarding. What's the point of even being? If you can't except a challenge, and conquer it.
people read and qute a portion of my post then act like they understood what i said
growing is a responsabiltiy, ask dale Carnegie about the relationship people have responsability
probably 0.5% of the world is producers. 99.5% consumers. do the math.
