I've been inactive on here for a long time and just started my grow again. I have an old pic from my second-to-last grow that is a good example of an organic coir-based grow. My last grow didn't go as well because I had an AC failure and just could not keep them cool enough.
Anyway here is the pic:

What strain are you runnin?
I'm not doing anything special, got one of them KIS nute packs, mixed it in some coco with some wormpoo and water with ACT. Just been watering with tap+a splash of foxfarm's sledgehammer since week 4, trichs are explodin. The nute pack's pretty special, sounded like a jackpot when I found it. (thanks surfguitar)
The KIS pack is $40 shipped for 15-20lbs of goodies. http://www.simplici-tea.com/nutrientpack.htm
Aptus website says the baseboost is 6-3-14 so some extra bone meal or guano tea's gonna fatten up your nugs. $100/kg though I'll stick to the KIS pack
Got a PM asking what I was doin as far as the organic coco is concerned so I'll break down my method...
4cu ft cocotek $20
5gal RO Big Worm EWC $30 (cu ft bag actually)
1 KIS nutrient pack $40
Growing the bombest weed you've ever grown: Priceless.
But back to basics, in hindsight, that mix needs composting, gnats REALLY, REALLY love freshly ground crabs and kelps and such, so I'd say throw all that stuff together on a tarp and mix it up and let it compost. You could probably just compost the KIS pack and the EWC in a composter then mix it into the coco, maybe 1/1/1 coco/ewc/KIS for the compost stage then add and mix it into the rest of the coco. After that it's ready to go.
My tea is a little different too, I fill my watering can, add 2 tblsp of molasses (Grandma's Robust ) bubble for 10min, add 1 yogurt cup EWC and bubble for 12-24hr. Then I water like regular, no diluting or anything. Gonna cut this down to once a week next round.
and about the Roots Big Worm castings - "Our worms are carefully tended and fed an unparalleled blend of organic compost, rock dust and kelp for exceptional quality castings. " so they might be the best wormpoo available, I know I'm liking it.
That's about it. Oh yeah I've been watering with Sledgehammer since week 4, it's foxfarm's rinse bottle, 10% saponin, plants can use the saponin and myco likes to eat saponin K now that's about it. Chop day tomorrow, gotta go sharpen up my chainsaw.
