Coco! Blumats! Seedlings! My first grow journal!

Hey Monk. Good show man! You had some early on contributions from some IC Rock Stars. Then they stopped dropping by for some reason. Anyways... I just read the entire thread and will stay tuned.

Question... how are the Blumats coming along? Anymore runaways? I have a few 12 packs of Blumats gathering dust in my garage. They're coming out today! I'm going with a setup pretty much like EZ Rider's from way back in the thread.

You find any more hermies in the CV genetics? I've been eyeing their gear and may pull the trigger on some of their regs... I don't do fems. Anyways...

Keep on keeping on my friend.

LH

Thanks for the interest :thank you: I'm grateful for everyone chiming in and dropping by, no matter if they are forum-famous or not  hopefully I'm putting a decent show together here.

Anyway Blumats are running fabulously, have had 0 problems after the one minor runaway when they weren't dialed in, and that was my fault. Pressurised is surely the way to go, especially when running over 12 or so cones. But anyway even with my elevated rez-setup, they rock!

And I've had 0 problems with CV's gear, they were all regs too. I recommend these wholeheartedly, the vigor & smell are awesome, and if they are anything to judge by, the smoke should be fantastic too! The hermies were in dinafems and Cali Connections gear, I ran those in case I would've had too many males, so thankfully it didn't matter that they hermed.

Good to know the CV's didn't throw balls! North Europe, heh? What y'all sayin about these US elections? I like to hear perspective from other parts of the globe. Your english is excellent by the way. Are you transplanted? LOL

Yeah, I've been really impressed with their gear. If you can get your hands on some Triangle Kush x ECSD-seeds, I'd suggest you do :D

I try not to dabble in politics too much but since you asked, the whole deal seems a bit strange to me... I mean no-one in their right mind would ever vote for Trump here. We have our nationalists and right-wingers too but usually the conversation stays intelligent (to an extent), and politicians who splurge out stuff like Trump does are shunned and usually somehow penalised.

On the other hand the concepts that Sanders is offering, and is being branded a socialist for, like free healthcare and education, are completely normal to Scandinavian nations. I mean even our rightest of the right wing would not take away free healthcare. So yeah, to most of us, the whole debate seems quite outlandish. But I guess the political and economic landscape over there is so fundamentally different that it's difficult to understand without living there.

And thanks, I learned english when I was a toddler, it's nice to hear that it's not undecipherable :D

Ah leaning on a wall, yeah.

But that symptom should be investigated if it wasn't leaning, and most likely would be happening to topmost buds first

Good looking out, thanks bro :thank you: I'll keep that one in mind, since with the blumats a build up is always a risk. I run drip clean though.

Just a quick note: had some yellowing going on under the canopy so I upped the feed a bit.

Aaand a budshot for ya'll watching

Yo! I haven't forgotten about this thread! What's going on, everyone?

I've been blessed/cursed with summer temperatures here - meaning that I can enjoy the warmth and sun but on the other hand my plants have been suffering a little... nothing too bad honestly. I just hope the heat would turn down a little for the remaining few weeks of flower that I have and then blast full on :D They are just starting week 6 of flower. I plan to take them 9 weeks + 1 week flush, so 10 weeks total, as recommended by the breeder.

And now to the pics... First off a overview of the plants, living their days under the artificial sun.

Second one is off my what seems to be a purple, 50/50, CW x ECSD-pheno... Catching some red/purple/pink hues on calyxes on lower buds, can't be seen on the top yet.

Third one is off the ECSD-dominant TKxECSD-plant

Fourth is a 50/50 pheno of CW x ECSD but with HUGE buds... they are on week 5 and the colas have the size of my wrist?

And the last but not the least, a super-frosty bud on a cookie-dominant pheno! This one's yield will be poor, because it has been almost completely overshadowed by it's neighbouring plants and it's in the corner but luckily I have a clone going on... they are so frosty that if the smoke lives up to the hype, I might monocrop this pheno next run :D

So we'll be ready around the same time! Cool! Will be nice to compare results :D Vert could be awesome with that stretchy haze of yours, I was considering it too but decided against it because the stretch & structure of these plants were unknown... My second run was vert, yielded a great amount of nice Blue Dream buds but it was during the winter and I didn't have the cash to upgrade my ventilation to match the summer heat.

my thoughts exectly...and ive noticed that she likes it hot...she has no problems with warm temperatures...in vert i just have to up the relative humidity (in strech) to 70 to maybe minimal to 65%. and with warm temperatures that wont be that hard...

the buds are rock hard and it has a kind of frutty smell to it...
its the first time i have problems with the odor so i dont know if its a the carbon filter (maybe i have to change the carbon in it) or its just the high humidity with the lights off...

A quick note: Lost two of my clones to some unknown reason, so had to take a few flowering clones. Thankfully I had been sloppy with my under canopy-trimming :D Did some reading before making the cut, and apparently these have huge branching potential, but take time to root and re-veg. Apparently it doesn't matter when you take them. This doesn't bother me at all as my next run will be during the winter. Interesting to see how these compare to the ones taken in veg... Fingers crossed that they make it, as they are off my favorite pheno.

Oh and Zukinjo, high humidity can definitely mess with your carbon filter. How high is your rh during the night time?

Another small update!

Everything is chugging along nicely, they're starting their 7th week of flower now...getting fatter and fatter by the day. The stench in my tent is insane, my filter is barely holding on :D I'll feed them for another week or two and then start the flush. Any tips for flushing in coco?

I've been planning for additional ventilation for the next run, most probably some powered intake, a dedicated fan for the lights and a smaller, as-quiet-as-possible fan for the filtering. That way I can even add co2 later on, if I feel like it. Also planning to add a small 2x2- dual tent for my closet to do micro runs, pheno hunts and for keeping mother plants in.

and a few side bud pics for you guys...I'll take a few decent photos off the plants before harvest, I promise!

The first is off my cookie-dominant CW x ECSD. Smallest yield of the bunch for sure, but the frost is unbelievable and it smells of diesel-dipped cookie dough. So, it's a definite keeper if the smoke is as good as the looks.

The second pic is off the ECSD- dominant TK x ECSD... the pic doesn't do it justice at all, the buds are really frosty and smell of citrus and SOUR. Really loud. The yield off this one is going to be insane.
