Looking good ^ Harvest; I’ve noticed some of the Laotian I’ve grown can be overly leafy while others not as much, but the P1’s are all wild, here’s some different leafs from SE Asian & HI X’s to the Gambian Male, some very much SE Asian Dominate but funky smelling like a proper bad ass African

always a fan of chest size fan leaves and tight serration. bumped into somethin pretty cool about the non serrated gambian types. recently trema orientalis discovered very close relationship to cannabis even more then mulberry. the trema in thailand/phillipines/indonesia produce thc,cbd and cbn. they are also very high in tannins responsible for the leather type smell. alot of se asian/haze have that leather/liver profile. thai strains also have the highest cbn content of landraces. also makes you wonder- trema is a perrenial just like mulberry and hops all the close relatives. since cbn is the oxidized version of thc , woiuldnt this make thc an intermediate? since its perrenial you would think all the thc must end up as cbn relatively quickly year wise. anyway the morrphology on the trema leaves strongly favors non serrated cannabis leaf.

The blue pheno is more sedate and not what I am wanting. The seeds are totally different despite being made from the same males. The effects are quite different and I suspect some indica contamination occurred. Indica in Burma not from me. The plants are quite similar in leaf shape but the blue has a lot more blueish resin covered calyxes whereas the regular color plants look less resin coated and dense.

Mong Hsat is not a tiny isolated village, so plenty of various seeds can come thru and change the local genes. Maybe this is just natural genetic variation but I doubt that is the case.

Looking good dood! I’m doing great, thx for asking - April & May are always crazy months for me here with outside gardens & construction projects / upkeep, things slow down by mid June, hopefully…. But always growing, as soon as I have time I’m gonna get better pics in here, some serious gems arising off many new tested crosses

very nice indeed see what you mean on the fast one looks lovely ,maybe its gambian dom ?
It’s after all 75% Gambian x 25% SE Asian….. that said it’s flowers are more SE Asian IMO but the timing is All Gambian, it’s Gambian Waxy too, there’s some odd timing within some the Gambians; IME some tropical & closer you get to the equator there’s an Auto like tendency similar to say peppers, once they start flowering they kinda stay in flower & some are fast…. It’s logical to think plants with 12/12 or close to it year round rely on other cues for timing….

Goal for many is getting quick Tropicals to flower further & further from equator while keeping as much quality as possible; I’m no different
