I’m once again starting a new diary so that the thread title is more fitting to the current goings on in my garden.
The seriously SILy Branch Blooming experiment was fun. I found out that when separating sections of a plant with a light barrier and keeping one on 24 hrs light does indeed keep that section perfectly in the veg stage while the 12/12 section flowers out woth a hitch.
When I started that thread my thinking was that if it my hypothesis was correct I’d root prune and up pot that plant create another one just the same and grow that way from now on. This was a solution to only growing the state mandated 4 legal recreational plant count and still be able to max out the space I have available in a nice monthly perpetual manor. Not long into the other experiment though I realized that I’d much rather start an air layering once/month on my MOMF ((Mom Of Many Flavors) - shout out to Methias for teaching me that term not sure if he coined it or not))
Then cut the air layering off after a month or two to veg for one more month next to the MOMF before going into one of my two tents.
I’ll be grafting that one plant with at least two if not 5-6 different strains each month. I’ll playing around with different combinations to see which strains make the best host plants aka have the best root stock. Also with designs and patterns for novelty sake.
It’s late and it’s bed time so I’ll post some pictures tomorrow to kick this thing off. Love you all.
