vonforne,
Thanks for coming by bro, glad to have you along!!

Ido,
Thanks for your nice comments!!

Well I will have a pollen chucking trial going on the thread now. I have a friend growing out some Sensi Seeds Afghani. He come upon this male and gifted it to me. It looks like it is a pretty solid male and it is right on time to spread some love to a couple of lower buds on this TW cross. I cannot get the pics of him to load tonight but will get them on when I can.

I am pretty happy with these so far. They look pretty good for around a month of 12/12. I think these have the potential to yeild well.

Well I was off on the time that male would start dropping pollen. A couple of pods broke open last night. I might be dusting some buds in a couple of days. :woohoo:.

A little pollen alsways helps down the road. I hope it was not to bad and that the seeds turn out nice and fat.

Hi bro Von!,
This Afhani male was already seperated into a chamber I made with one of those large plastic tubs ( a southern lights male pictured):

I am thinking I will be able to start dusting a couple small branches in the next day or two.

Well the last couple of nights, I have been dusting a lower branch of the #2 TW X ChemD. Everyone cross their fingers that it took lol. I still have that Afghani male spewing pollen, I will probably try to dust a couple buds of the ChemStar and maybe the ChemD.

Now that is a cool little male chamber. I put mine outside this year. I got lucky with the timing. We are running some males in this next run so I will look at that model. I love sharing and learning from other growers.

Thanks vonforne, actually if you use this kind of tub, you need to do some modification to it or have some kind of fan bringing in or taking out air. If not, condesation will form on the inside and kill the pollen. I do not have any fans in there because I have not wanted pollen being thrown all around but have left the lid cracked open and the whole tub covered with a blanket during the dark cycle. I am thinking that a little pc fan bringing in a little bit of air would fix that.

Here is a pic update,

Well the Afghani pollen took really nice. The dusted buds on the number 2 plant is seeding up really nice. Glad I decided to only dust #2 as plant #1 is already showing signs of maturing. I probably gave #1 the last feeding yesterday and will start flushing next watering to give a a good 2 weeks straight water flush. I had to start tying up some of the side branches as the buds on them are getting too heavy.
