Hi BLYNX.

Friend I would like to ask a question, I'm setting up a flowering booth with 15 12W lamps, do you recommend using all yellow lamps? or use mixed white and yellow spectrum?

Sorry to repeat this question, I'm sure it has already been done, but I still haven't been able to read all of the more than 200 pages.

I'll be happy with the answer. thank you.

I use cool white for vegging (6500k) and soft white for flowering (2700k).

I made a new light fixture for my LED micro cab.
There were 8 lights in it

which I feel was too much, so I made a 6 light fixture.

Let's test it out.

This round will be with a cross I made; GG#4 x Casey Jones.

I ended up with 5 female plants from the seeds I started. 4 of the 5 were ok, but nothing special. The fifth plant grew unlike any of the other 4. This plant is stretchy, has spaced out internodes, low leaf, high calyx. Unfortunately the stems on this girl make GG#4 branches look strong by comparison.

The smell/taste on this cut is so complex and enticing to me. There is a slight sweet fruity odor with a hint of funk and a lot of spices. It smells a lot like fruit chutney. As is starts to cure, the fruity smell lessens and the spices increase and it really starts to remind me of Nag Champa incense.

Here she is before transplanting

and after transplanting to her new container

Let's put her in the cab and get the show on the road.

do you find the cfls better for veg ?

I think either will work for vegging a plant I'm going to flower, I just happen to have a bunch of CFL and since I just changed the amount of lights, I figured I'd go with the CFL for this round's veg.

Hey Blynx i would have thought you would be using led bulbs by now. Wouldn't that be more cost efficient?

I'm sure they do slightly but I'm not concerned about it.

I've found that when I keep plants long term in a 3" container, they do just fine under daylight cfls. I've kept plants in those containers for a up to a year and while they look rough, a simple transplant and they spring back and put out new growth.

LED daylights, even tho they are the same 6500k daylight color as the CFLs, long term, the plants act differently under them. Long term they show nute deficiencies that the CFL plants don't. I've also had plants that never flowered under 24/0 daylight cfl, start to throw out pistils after many months under daylight LED.
