I spent 3 years to find the male I kept and utilized in a lot of my work...

The male I used and shared with VG passes the true terpene and cannabinoid profile of them Digi clone mom...that's why it was kept and utilized in many crosses.

I don't want to detract from VG's thread too much - but suffice to say - in his F2's you'll find plants that do posses the old scholl aroma you seek. It's a guarantee...not a maybe. All of the people posting here have sorted a single pack and not one person is saying they haven't found such a terpene profile...

To get that true blueberry muffin aroma in a single pack of seeds is very rare these days...

I'm not saying we have or I have accomplished anything that DJ didn't - as it's not like I "created" the Digi - I'm just relating to you what is possible with VG's line. I'm also not suggesting you don't sort DJ's work - I love his work. I'm just presenting you with other options to find what it is you seek. THe more you grow, the more you sort...from different breeders - the more likely you are to find what it is you seek...it's called playing the odds.

Any seed - regardless of who bred it - is playing a sort of genetic lottery. You increase your odds the more you grow...the more you sort...the more you seek...the more you find. Plain and simple.

You want to make money - grow clones. You want to have fun and explore the world of cannabis and find your own personal grail - sort seeds.

awesome stuff guys, pics look great and fantastic to hear that the bery smells are ranging from sweet/candy to muffin.

the plant structure of my Bb mum has also been tamed somewhat by the shorter digi - which is great. i still see the structure of my Bb mother but doesnt seem to stretch in such an extreme manner. some phenos look much closer to the digi as well

great to see so many great pics, keep them coming, and some smoke reports would be good to.

many thanks

VG

P.S. thanks again to Frank!

hey MM, obviously more is better when it comes to selection, i think they are 12 packs of seeds, would of thought you would find some great stable phenos from a couple of packs but you could realy go to town and pop more...

they seem to have decent vigor so should be able to handle a little inbreeding and/or make some crosses

here is a link to a pack on the bay
http://www.seedbay.com/index.php?a=2&b=116318

of you are ardering to your buddies address its probably best to order and sort payment yourself and just put his addy down for the seeds to be delivered to.

My 3 females from the one pack I ran were all completely different pheno. They were all awesome in their own ways, but totally different. I think anyone could find something worth keeping in one pack, but 2 or 3 might be better off you're serious.

@Ambertrich - I think I'd be pairing #4 with your male.

Which of your ladies has the most muffin type smell? Either way, I be the high on your #4 is going to be nothing short of epic...has a great blend of all the parents involved from what I can tell...

And your male - well, sexy looking stud you have there! Nice find! I'd top him and see if the whorled phyllotaxy continues.

@Redneck - love the way the old school blueberry traits are coming through in the coloration of the leaves. Not surprised to hear she has that blueberry aroma to her. Nice looking lady. Have you had a chance to smoke her at all yet? Certainy a frosty beast!

PS - hope you get those mites taken care of...nasty buggers.

@VG - seriously...the more I see of these plants - the more I love the collab. It's awesome to see so many people growing out a few seeds and finding such special flavors. You know as well as I do how hard it can be to find. The sativa profile of you mom and the more squat digi have made for the perfect counter balance - and the vigor and big spears we are seeing in everyones garden is just an excellent example of what a hybrid should be. Best part is - the classic blueberry high remains intact and isn't muddied or perverted in any way...

Big respect, man! Exciting stuff in this thread for us blue lovers! Truly.

Hey VG, why don't you crack a few f2s yourself and see what you think? . I'd love to see you work your magic on a few.... And on that subject, do you post any of your grows anymore? Your organic quartets thread was my Inspiration to start growing in the first place. I can't imagine how many hours I spent reading that thread.

My BlueDigi is throwing out white hairs in a hurry. I expect it to finish first or second week of October for the main run.
picture.php

Not sure what to think of the pink hairs. Scouring the nearby plants for male flowers but haven't found any. Hopefully it's a reaction to last week's rain and outdoor conditions.
picture.php

Blueberry strains seem to have more congenital defects that show outdoors unless they've been bred and selected for a couple generations outside. Out of the four I popped I ended up with a male and a female that took off. A little sensitive to wet and cold but no grey mold so far. I live north of 45 N so that's a big factor.
Can't wait to see the frost and smells develop in the coming weeks.
