Thanks to all for stopping :)

Wolv you're right, that is the same identical plant, also the same flower color. For some years I didn't see any around my home...this year were a lot ?!? however I took some seeds just for fun ;)

Today plants are exactely 1 month old.Calcium def seems are not a problem anymore since I started to use my de-humidifier to take under control RH and VPD.I noticed plants didn't absorb much water when humidity was ca. 80%
Now I'm running it around 65% and water uptake is great.I can see them drink up to 2 - 2,5 liter x day,and considering air temp is higher than water temp there is not much evaporation from the rez.
Surely Ca is linked to transpiration and have an ideal VPD is a way to achieve a good water efficiency in the plants.

In the next days I'll do a complete water change...ten days or less to 12\12 switch

I'm using something like 750 liter of air per hours in the rez (I have 3 air pumps). The rez is 90 liters or little less.Do you guys use more or less air in your rez?

Air temp : 22 - 25°C
Water temp : 21 -22°C
RH: 65-70% daytime - 60-65% nightime
pH : 5,5
Ec : 0,7 mS

Thanks McDank & Sirus :)
I think I have 2 different phenos...the plant on the left is more bushy with ticker branches...but it's only a first impression. Will see it clearly in flowering.

Air temp : 22 - 25°C
Water temp : 21 -22°C
RH: 65-75% daytime - 65% nightime
pH : 5,5
Ec : 0,7 mS

Today I did a complete solution change in the bucket and I took some pics for me and for everyone.

Roots porn

Roots are white and healty. No rot or strange smell...simply nice :)

Hey noreason  Lookin good! :good: How do you like the air pots? Whats your take on soil vs. coco? Two things I am interested in trying in the next couple rounds.

It's the first time using airpot.Really too soon to give a feedback. However I use soil pre-mixed with perlite.A light mix with few N,ideal for small seedlings.
I used coco a couple of times...but my way it's dwc at moment ;)

Awesome plants, can't wait to see what they can become :)
... anyway i think that we have the same preferences for flowers... i fell in love this summer with Pancratium maritimum, i found it in a beach in Marocco.

When i returned home i discover that my father has some beans of it, next summer i'll hope to grow it!

Hey wolv, nice to see you know what plant I'm talkin'about :)
I found these seeds on the beach, and this is the first try to grow them.I'm thinking the pot in wich they are at now is not very deep. However I'll wait the next spring to germinate more seeds and let them grow under the big hps.
If you are going to plant any seed remember thay love very areate medium and not so much water.Obviously they like hot temp and a lot of light, also if they vegetate in the winter.
Keep it green bro

Hi ya noreason, it looks like the CO2 made a big difference to the young plant pics the leaves were bigger than your hand. Can't wait to see finished product & the big weigh inn. added to your rep, top job.:tree::tree::mopper:

Thanks CH :) Will see in the next months if CO2 works as it should do.I can't be sure if co2 is the key but I noticed a faster growth respect the last cheese run,but you know...different strain...no real comparison

Tonight me and my girl worked on that forest, bending n' cropping a lot of branches. This work insure a lot of light to lower branches, and doing this now, just after the switch to 12\12 will give the chance to the little branches to grow and reach the upper branches ''standardizing'' all the canopy before the stretch is over.

The second hps is working from flowering start ;) and the little bluecheese in soil has been moved to the little vege room.

Some parameters

Air temp : 22 - 27°C lights on - ca. 20 lights off
Water temp : 21 -22°C
RH: 65-75% daytime - 65% nightime
pH : 5,5
Ec : 0,8 mS\cm
CO2 : 600 min - 1200 max ppm

nice work my friend:)
the best part is coming.. dwc rocks if the conditions are optimal
and your plants looks amazing..
im thinkink..with 0,8 ec your plants looks super..
less is more, i know but last year with bb in your stage my plants
had 1,6-1,8 ec with no problem at all..maybe if i had lower ec
that works better but who knows...

0,8 is not much,I know...but I'll rise EC little by little. When I see EC value decrease pretty fast I rise ec of 0,1 mS and so on...
What I uderstand is that every strain need different EC but also different setup like your (rdwc) need different EC values. So there is no standard for EC...it's up only to the grower to understand how much ;)

We'll see what EC value I can reach in bloom...the maximum ec I ever reach is 2.4 however.

Keep it up tjo

Grazie fratello :)
Qualche problema con l'assorbimento di Ca c'è stato,ma la crescita in idroponica è così veloce che i segni sono già difficili da vedere

Tonight I took some pics...ladies are hungry, every day each plant drink more then 1 liter of water and ec drop continuosly.Nice! :)

pH drops a little everyday, but I think it's due to high Co2 level...air pumped trough airstones carry with it Co2 too,and this reacts with water, creating carbonic acid...being an acid,ph goes down.Btw Co2 is used by aquarium enthusiast to lower pH.

I notice that if humidity remain too high for a day or so,Calcium def will appear.I know Ca uptake is regulate by transpiration, but this strain seems to want a lot of it or maybe pH at 5.5 is not their best range to Ca uptake. However this is not a real trouble, with a de-humidifier I can have the right RH.

Parameters:

Air temp : 22 - 28°C lights on - ca. 20 lights off
Water temp : 21,5 - 22°C
RH: 65-75% daytime - 65% nightime
pH : 5,5
Ec : 0,9 mS\cm
CO2 : 600 min - 1200 max ppm
