Fact is terrorist groups were very active in those countries at the time and Europe had a spike in terrorism after letting in refugees. Isis had many followers from many different middle eastern countries so it makes more sense to ban countries where they are most active.

I haven't watched much news lately, so your Tucker point falls flat.
