Way more of a common practice these days than you would think. shocking is more like it. "Formal charges to follow at the conclusion of the pending investigation" I think is how they frame it up for ya.
Especially if they are trying to build a sales and distribution case against ya.
Thank god you can bond out and wait for the dust to settle in your own bed and not locked down. Two felony counts at about $5,000.00 bond each. Then you just have kick up about $7,500.00 for an attorney to even start looking at a defense.

Start burying some cash before you find yourself with your bank accounts and assets frozen imo. Stay a step ahead of those law enforcement agents! good to keep a stash aside for just incase. might be tough to come up with 8G's when you're in a cell otherwise.

Morning everyone
BG, is doing fine and his lawyer is doing well for him. You've got to remember, that when you have the best dam lawyer in the town and that's all he deals with and been in the business for a very long time. He or she know's what they are doing, plus they know all the judges very well. Things are looking very well for him. BG did bond out and is still free. The bond hearing went very well for him and he is back home safe with his family. As for the charges and what happen. Well, the police came and did their deal. They did not charge him on the shop. They said they had to make sure it was cannabis and sent it to a lab. Even though they knew it was. I wish i could go into detail, but i can't. Changes came later and now we are wait for the first hearing, but the lawyer said they should be able to work out the felony charges. It helps having the best lawyer there is, in the town the case will be heard. If all goes well, BG should be through this in a year. We are hoping for minor probation and no felony charges, but will see. He is staying very upbeat about it and he got good news that he might be getting his SUV back. Now that's a good lawyer if that happens, but it's looking very good. Will see what happens. If there are any questions that i can answer. PLease ask, but watch what you ask. I can not got into any details. Thanks for all the kind words of support.

When I was 18....first charge... big mess.......anyhow..... the best lawyer in Florida got me and my buddy off with all charges dropped. $8000 a piece for us.....but well worth it!

BG's lawyer is doing their job and then some. We all are hoping for the best and everything get's dropped or reduced to nothing, but will see down the road. BG is just taking it one day at a time and working on the book. He is staying busy and trying not to think about it. BG is just so ready to get this over and leave the country and take a beather from all the crazy laws and just relax. I keep telling him that the time will be here, before he knows it. Besides the worring, he's doing pretty well. He can't wait to be back here with all his friends. He really misses everyone here. There is going to be a big party once he's free and clear. He's planning a little trip, once things are over. That also keeps his spirits high. Well, just wanted to reply to some of you.

The legal game is expensive but if you have a good lawyer who has pull in the local area the case matters less than the good old boy network that makes the whole team of lawyers, judges and cops the conspirators. Not the little grower of weeds.

Here here Bog. 18 years ago I was facing 6 class A felonys. I went to a local attorney (who is now a judge) he looked at the charges and asked if this was truely my first offense and I said yes it was, he then made 3 phone calls and when he finished looked at me and said for 35,000 you will get probation and you must attend rehab. I paid the 35,000 and lo and be hold 1 year later it worked out EXACTLY the way he said. Money does talk even in the courthouse.

BG, is doing well. He is staying very busy and working alot of hours. He's been thinking alot about everyone and misses everyone alot. He told me to tell everyone hi and that he will be back. He is just waiting to hear some good news and what's going on, and that should be this week coming up. All is good and i'll get back to everyone on any news this week.
