Vein, I don't see how or why aspirin would force hermaphroditism.
That is whats been passed through MJ growing community..... Bro sciense AKA rumor mill......

Try it as a foliar, instead. That's the only way I've ever used it, never as a root drench.

I have read it supposedly can affect the same mechanism that the common stuff we use to make fem seeds does. Messin with the ethylene regulation at high strength doses... supposedly causes high ratio of males.
I grow in organic soil. I read about the asprin and added 1/2 cap in gallon of water. Watered the plants yesterday, they are about 3 to 4 weeks old. Checked this morning and I can tell you that the leaves were up and very happy, almost like they all had hard ons this morning. Like viagra for cannabis plants. I'll continue through this grow of white jones and bubblelicious. Also use Fox Farm liquid nutes at 1/2 of recommended dosage only once so far. I do believe the asprin had a positive impact so far.

Works either way. I prefer the drench. By the way, two years later I finally found out it was broad mites causing the problems. Broad mites inject a toxin into the plants as part of their digestive process, and this is what damages the plants. Aspirin mitigates these problems quite dramatically. However, obviously it doesn't kill broads, just makes some of the symptoms go away. Had a loss of odor, but everything else seemed normal. Still had to treat for broad mites of course.
I have used aspirin as high as 3 tablets per gallon with no ill effects.
Ah, really? Do I understand that you're saying if you use it in sufficiently high doses, then you can cause sexual changes or reactions similar to, say, colloidal silver, or giberillic acid (sp? giberrellic? giberillic? jibber jabber!)? I know that ethylene gas can do all sorts of things to different types of plant parts, reproductive parts (fruit), for example. But I don't know a *thing* about how aspirin might work with or against that.
I see you've gone on to provide some links. Workin' mah brainz!
Great to know. Unfortunately, aspirin provided no such relief when I had a bout of root aphids.
You got rid of the broad mites, yes? Do you think the aspirin caused the loss of odor, or the broad mites, or a combination of issues?
so will the asprin make my ladies grow hermie or is it safe to use ??
but his recipe is a consentration to be mixed with plain water .... so i'm still not sure how much to add per gallon .Nutrients:
I have used this recipe with absolutely fabulous results for years.
I use it on my plants from the time they have roots until they are flipped 12/12.
And all the way through harvest with a couple minor changes.
Nutrient/water schedule: Daily, by weight, as needed.
Nutrient recipe:
16 crushed Aspirin,
3/8 cup Brer Rabbit Molasses, (8Tbs)
8 tsp Jack's Classic All Purpose (20-20-20),
3 Tbls Epsom Salt,
8 Tbls Lilly Miller Vitamin B1 Plant Starter.
Mixed in 3 cups hot water (boiling hot) to dissolve solids.
Makes 1 quart concentrate. Stored in Refer.
Mixes 16 Gal. @ 1/4 cup per gallon.
Once flipped 12/12 for flower the JC's nute is changed to 2 Teaspoons Green Light, Super Bloom (12-55-6) per gallon (16 tsp).
Using this recipe I have never had to flush a plant due to lock-out or salt buildup. Never.
Heres his thread ....https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=223183
& i'll post his nute schedule .

seems to mix 16 gallons of nute juice .... & he uses 16 asprin .... so 1 per gallon ???
yeah so anyway; aloe
