You're correct. A dehumidifier extracts moisture from the air, but the process can result in the release of warmer air. Here's a brief explanation:A dehumidifier will most certainly raise the temp in the room/tent whathaveyou.
It spits out the dried hot air from the back, it doesn't cool at all, nothing but warm air comes out of it.
Or am I confused at what you're saying? It's possible.

Are you a Bot?You're correct. A dehumidifier extracts moisture from the air, but the process can result in the release of warmer air. Here's a brief explanation:
When a dehumidifier operates, it pulls in air, removes moisture from it, and then releases the drier air. The extraction of moisture usually involves the dehumidifier's internal coils cooling the air to condense and collect the water. However, before releasing the drier air, it is often reheated to room temperature or slightly warmer.
So, in practice, a dehumidifier can have a minor warming effect on the room or space where it's being used. If cooling is a primary concern, especially in warmer environments, it might be beneficial to use the dehumidifier in conjunction with an air conditioner to maintain both a comfortable temperature and humidity level.
