Thanks to all who stopped by my thread. It was a bumpy ride, but I learned a lot. I've got clones of malawi #5 and I'm going to run it again ASAP and correct my mistakes!

Smoke report coming as soon as I get some with a bit of cure on #5.

What picture is that from? Timmur's grow?

What was the final harvest weight? GPW?

Yes that was from the harvest from my room. I was so embarrassed that I didn't have the heart to take pictures at the end. I don't have a final weight yet, but it's looking like 7.5 lbs. One plant completely died and yielded nothing. Also took the plants about 2 weeks early. All things considered, it wasn't terrible. I expected to get about .9 GPW and got closer to .7. I'm expecting the next run to be much better.

I'm sure once you get the system down, you'll pull good weight next time. Waiting patiently till next run...

You asked me to stop in so I did. :D Looking real good, you did a great job barring all the issues. I was looking through the pics and they kept getting bigger in veg and I'm thinking "they're gonna be too big!" And apparently they were, but hey it takes a while to dial in a new setup and room. Your next run will be much better! Let me know when you start up again!

Timmur, there is no need to feel anything but pride.

You have tried many new things and come out with baseball bats. Plants will die, others will thrive, but we all keep moving forward.

Timmur! You are a rock star, my friend. That was quite an adventure. I have a few of these Malawi beans that I'm going to get popping now. Thanks for sharing with us, and hey: nice greenbeams, baby. :tiphat:

Well bro I've had several problems that forced me to harvest a bit early. I failed to prune the roots and so the return lines and manifold clogged with roots. I ran the system that way as long as I could. I also had an issue with branches collapsing and plants tipping because I let them veg so long and didn't get the cages up. Bottom line is I fucked shit up!

With that said, I've trimming all weekend and I think I found a keeper. Malawi #5 was stickiest and the most fuel smell ever. That plant probably had one cola that will probably weigh in at over 4-5 ounces dry. I don't have time to post up pics, but I'll try to post up ASAP. I'm so sick that I had to harvest early. They should've gone another week or two with some of them. Malawi #5 was about the only one really ready. I'm planning on reloading with #5 for a nice mono crop run. I really screwed this run up, but I've learned a ton and am confident the next run will be killer. I can't venture a guess on yield, but if they were all like #5 the yield would be sick!

Hi timmur,

You did a great job with your first Malawi grow in this setup, and we all have learnt a lot with your diary and experience. 7.5 lbs in such small space is an amazing yield despite being harvested a bit early.
The pic that megayield has shared is a proof of it.

And probably the best thing is that you keep clones of your Malawi 5 keeper so with all the previous experience i'm sure your next grow will be stellar  and it will be much easier to tame the genetics from clone than from seed.
You must be proud of yourself and many people here appreciate your contributions.

Thanks for the awesome journal of your progress thus far Timmur, just awesome. I had forgot about your rooms similarities until Hammerhead linked me back - thanks by the way Mr Hammer.

I was wondering if you think that 9x315W units would be inadequate for ~10x10x6.5' grow tent in a basement. I was planning to use either 3' parabolics or go with adjust a wing mediums. I know my PPFD will not be as awesome as yours, though I have seen the potential in a 3x3tent with one unit- I reckon I will lose on some of the wall reflection with such a large space.

I was planning to actively exhaust outside with a carbon filter and TD200S fan. (~530CFM before the filter). I was curious what your average temps were and how often the AC needed to stay on, periodically or constantly to cool that room.

Do you have any suggestions after seeing 16 of them? I was hoping to achieve better uniformity and more points of lights VS 630 units. I know that your running almost twice as much light as me in a smaller area, and now I just cant help but feel like I will not be doing justice with this extravagance.

Thanks for stopping by! I had some travel planned so I haven't fired back up yet. I'll be sure to post up the next adventure!
