now you see why i need a 10k
Cools the room just fine except it runs the rh down too much.
No lighting in the room... Just a humidifier and a ceiling fan
now you see why i need a 10k
T8's are better for veg you reckon? I have some old 4ft T8 fittings that I was gonna use for a veg setup, but thought they weren't as efficient as the T5s. What wattage are you tubes Coconutz? I'm gonna need to expand my veg setup soon, if I can make use of these T8's I'd be wrapped. otherwise I got two 2ft 4tube PL 55w (220w) fittings - using one at half at the moment with good results.
32w

comes with its own scrog
LG 5k btu window ac sucks my dick!
I guess its best to slightly oversize your drying room AC so it doesnt suck all the moisture out of the air?
During the day this thing just keeps running!
Nice. Lucky people with your Home Depot! Not as easy to get cheap gear like that. But looks like it'd be much the same as with my fittings. Shibby! Might start dicking around with what sort of expansion I can accommodate.
And damn dude! Hope you didn't short the whole joint out. Shits cool?
The ac should be on a fused disconnect (which it probably is) check I bet it has little 25 amp rolled fuses in there by the outdoor unit. The gfci tripped on the one circuit. It only cut power to the pump and the timer thats used as a trigger for the light controller.
I just waited 15 mins and turned everything back on and it was all good.
Just some afternoon shade as far as the plants are concerned.
People tried to tell me I wouldnt need any gfci's... I replaced all the normal outlets with them anyway.
All my 110V outlets are gfci. The 220V are barebacking it though.
Id actually like to have one on the main breaker feeding my subpanel, or at least on the lighting controller.
I think Im supposed to have a surge protector breaker for the ac at least.
Check the manual on your ac, or just check the plate by the electrical connection. A lot of these Japanese and Chinese units want 25 amps, which is super weird in the us.It should be on a disconnect, but its not...
Guess Ill get on that sooner or later
Home depot only had a 30amp, but my ac is 20
I need to start harvesting more plants at a time.
Having more plants in there should also help keep the rh up.
I dont want to run my dry room full time.
i agree with gfci in general but that plug is 2 feet over my head and theres a lot of water to splatter about.all the acs i have must have a surge protector so the mother board doesnt get fried in an event. the dedicated fusebox is code and must have an outlet within 25 feet on a seperate circuit as the ac. this is so the serviceperson can use electricity to plug in tools to service thge outdoor unit while being able to turn off power to the unit for safety reasons.

That is he'll on earth having a drying going all the time. Nothing worse because it needs constant fucking with.
