Well the GFs are still stretching a little but I think it should be over pretty soon. The buds are starting to be more apparent, and they will get their first shot of pk13-14 next watering (in a few days) which should give them a nice boost to pack some weight on.

Looking Great Toka , How long have they to go .See u still haven't got aroung to covering the walls. Even some black and white and some blue-tac to stick it to walls will improve the light .

Hey cobo,
It'll be their 19th day of 12/12 when lights come on tonight, so nearly 3 weeks. According to FMS, the Grapefruits are a 8 week strain, so bout another 5 weeks or so till they're ready.

Youre absolutely right about covering the walls. I have been extremely lazy the past couple of weeks, being on holiday and all, just chillin and blazin lol...
I'll take the black n white out the box this evening and get down to it, i promise
It would indeed be a shame not to give the girls all the light they can get...

Update to come later today, i also have to feed them tonight, and I have a special menu prepared for them, extremely rich in Phosphorous and Potassium, specially designed NOT to loose weight

Right well at last the cab walls are covered, took a while but its done now

Some of the branches are still stretching a bit, and Ive had to tie a few down again because they were getting a bit too close to the light and the top leaves were starting to yellow/burn.

They got a near full strength feeding of nutes (Terra Flores 4mL/L, PK 13-14 1.5mL/L, Bio Boost 1mL/L, Cannazym 2.5mL/L, Rhyzotonic 0.5mL/L), pH=6.6

I didn't use the BoostAccelerator this time because I realized it was mouldy (and possibly was when i used it last too, but havent noticed any ill effects on the plants... yet)

Temps are still pretty stable, although it got pretty hot in there for a few days (around 30C), but I cant complain as we've finally got some nice weather around here

I'm sure they must smell quite nice at this point, but unfortunately I'm a bit ill and I dont have any smell or taste whatsoever...

Beautiful grow man.

My own experience with GF under a 150 HPS was that the buds chopped at eight weeks were much racier than the ones I cut at nine, but under a 400 they should ripen faster. You've got so many colas on the way, I'd say stagger the harvest by a week and get the best of both worlds.

Very nice looking grow you got there, our grows aren't too far off from each other mine is on day 14 of 12/12 and i did LST too. Plus i snapped the top off one of my plants during veg as well. I've wanted to try grapefruit for a while i have some beans just haven't gotten around to them yet. Does it smell yet?

Hi guys. At last Im back from holiday, its a been a bit more than 2 weeks since the last update, and I have to say I had a very good surprise when i got back .
They are a bit more than 5 weeks into their budding and man they look good, really frosting all over and starting to pack on some weight too.
They are smelling awsome, very sweet, fruity and juicy, simply delicious.
The carbon filter is doing a great job too, absolutely no smell in the room, until you open the cab doors of course
They were fed pk13-14 for a week and a half (about 3-4 times) starting at the end of week 2 of 12/12. They have also been fed BioBoost all the way through 12/12 at 1ml/l.

Man that Grapefruit is looking mighty Sweet ​

I've heard and read nothing but good things about FFS Grapefruit , and seeing is believing . I will be ordering them as soon as there back in stock . I'm going to try thier Sour NL x Nev Haze next time . i have one going for clones at minute , but deff going to be Grapefruit when there back.

Oh . I See you got around to lining your cab .. can only help .

Well its been nearly 10 days since the last update, its now about 6.5 weeks into the flowering.

Things are going well, but I've been facing a couple of issues...

First of all, summer being on its way back, the temps in the cab are high, usually around 29-30C when lights are on, and they only go down to 20C at night. Heat stress is apparent and they need watering a bit more often.
On top of that, the plant on the right started having a N def a bit more than a week ago, and the plant on the left also recently started to yellow a bit, but since it was just before 6 weeks of 12/12 i decided to leave it and start flushing them for the remaining time...

Apart from that, they are gorgeous and they smell absolutely divine. A really pungent fruity aroma, even the 5" scrubber is having a hard time dealing with the smell, real stinkers!
Grapefruit must also be one of the most cristally strains I have ever grown, there are trichs simply everywhere, covering the smaller fan leaves right to their tips

lookin real good toke, i love the looks of those buds too. It seems the female seeds are good plants and u say the smell is divine i am glad im tryin their purple power at the moment now, and thinking of gettin their cinnamon too when possible. Hey guys thanks for poppin in

Cobo, unfortunately i didnt clone any of them, but luckily i managed to grab another pack of grapefruit in a local headshop so I still have more of these genetics to run I also picked up some feminized Paradise Seeds, "Whoppa" , which will probably be what i grow next, but that won't be till the summer is over and the temps go down again...

Anyway, the GF are a bit more than 7 weeks into 12/12, nearly 2 weeks flush, and they are still packing the weight on! The leaves are all proper yellowing now, especially on the one to the right on which the fan leaves are falling daily, its gonna be sooo easy to manicure. The plant on the left is different, it doesnt look like its gonna yield as much as her sister, but its getting more & more colourful by the day, and i can get where the "grapefruit" comes from.

About a week or less left now I think, the trichs are still mostly clear with a quite a few cloudy ones, havent seen an amber one yet. I'll keep checking the trichs regularly from now on.

Well, 2 days from the 8 week mark

I took them out of the cab for the photo shoot tonight so here are a few pics.

First is the plant from the right of the cab, which started yellowing first and most of the fan leaves have fallen off, leaving nice columns of buds that are still fattening up. Trichs on this one today are about 60/40 - clear/cloudy with practically no amber ones...

Now here is the plant from the left of the cab. This one doesnt have quite as big buds, but it seems like its going to be ready very soon, before the other one. Trichs on this one today were about 30/70 - clear/cloudy with a few amber (and red?) ones too.
Its leaves are putting on some really nice purple colours:

Well I think the colourful one will get the chop in the next few days, and Ill let the other pack on the weight a bit longer
