Bro I wanna say that it not being gg#4 is some bad news.. But Bruh thats some killah lookin shmoke right there. Whats even crazier is that, if it is some cookie cross.. Thats A pheno to keep if you like it.. Those yields aint from the cookie side in my opinion haha!

Man I wanna see if those Oregon Lemons are really gonna smell, and taste like lemons.. Through out the grow and after chop and cure.

Yeah no doubt, I cut down the last two plants and stared at them for an hour plus trying to figure out exactly what it is. Only the very top portion of the plant is purple and the rest is a typical lime green. Now what's really confusing me is the smell of these last two plants. It's almost indescribable, imagine Cookies with that sorta sweet doughy smell and some dank ass fruit smell and peppery at the same time. What I really like about this strain is the density, every bud is hella solid and crazy sticky!!! Just puts a smile on my face😎. As far as the Oregon Lemon's go it may be a smelly one late in flower, touching any leaf gives off a potent stinky lemon smell and it smelled this way in veg. I'm looking forward to this strain because I have no experience with it, come to think of it I've never smoked it either.

Thin Mint Cookies

Thin Mint Cookies

Transplanted from a 3 gallon to a 7 gallon today. Hopefully she fills out nicely in the new pot. 4 more weeks of veg minimum and see how they look then. I used Happy Frog soil with a mycorrizhae sprinkled in for the roots.

I've never smelt bud that was so distinct that you could pick out what it actually smelld like.. Sometimes some buds smell "Like" or similir to certain things.. But never exactly the same smell as wht ever your comparing the smell to..

I really wanna grow any cookies cross out.. I wanna see if it actually smells exactly like cookie dough like everyone says it does. Plus that thin mint to!

So what really got you to grow the Ooregon Lemon? Just cause you like lemons lol?

Oh yeah some bud going around is definitely unique and distinct. I used to get a bomb ass strain called "Eggnog" from a dispensary a couple towns away from me and I shit you not it had a creamy eggnog taste to it. Cookies is similar as far as something unique in taste, appearance and potency. I've grown Cookies in the past and the smell was a more peppery, sweet sorta kushy smell to it. The last batch I just cut down has that cookie dough, menthol funk to it. Different cuts I guess. I chose the Oregon Lemon's strictly off of its genetics as I'm a "Original" diesel lover!! That potent, loud ass danky diesel lol. I've smoked Face Off in LA a bunch of times and was impressed everytime. So the both blended together sold me easily.

Thin Mint Cookies

Thin Mint Cookies

So yo I've been trying my hand at growing "regular" plants along with cannabis plants lately. Planted a few tulips, lilies, roses etc. in pots and left them outdoors for months and nothing sprouted. I thought I killed the bulbs somehow. One day I needed some soil for the two Thin Mint plants and decided to just dig up the bulbs I planted and use the soil. Or so I thought, I'm rotating the plants today and much to my surprise I must have missed a bulb and it sprouted in the 10 gallon pot, smh.

Looks good! Some more ideas for companion planting.. basil, mint, garlic and chilli peppers all help prevent pests, and planting beans helps add nitrogen to the soil. Chamomile increases oil production in some nearby plants but not sure if it applies to cannabis.

There's more plants which are great for conditioning the soil too, like alfalfa. Have been thinking about doing this instead of veg nutes!

Lol thats awsome bro, leave that bulb in the 10 gallon pot.. Alot of guys like growing other herbs/plants in there pots as well. I wanna try grow some Marigolds to help with some insect/pest problems.. Are you able to grow mj plants outside as well?

Can we get some harvest or dried shots ;p? I was also wondering if you smell A slight grass or hay like smell when your drying the nugs? I have A closet im using with good air flow, and it takes about 4-5 days before the outsides are dry but the inside is still slightly moist. Basically perfect to then put into A brown paper bag or box..

But while its drying in the closet, everytime I open the door to check on them. I get hit with that grassy smell.. I've even been gettint it the last 2 harvest when everything is curing.. ITs a mixed smell of the grass/hay and what ever the nugs smelled like when growing...

Thanks, I'd like to grow all of what you mentioned at some point. The lilies that sprouted doesn't seem to have affected the cannabis plant at all. Actually looks like it may have helped it a bit. I thought that the plants would fight over root space but it's all good at the moment. Oh and there are 3 lilies that are growing pretty damn fast. I'm actually looking forward to the lilies flowering just as much as the Thin Mint plants lol. "Easy Dance" lilies.

I'm definitely leaving the lilies going, there are actually 3 that sprouted in the 10 gallon pot. I had that "hay" smell for a couple of days after harvest but it normally fades away and curing the buds brings back that dank smell extra pronounced for me. I've been hearing that if you dry your plants too long that will promote that grassy hay like smell. Here are a few pics of some trimmed bud and man this shit is DANK bro!! Super sticky, dense, smelly, great tasting weed. But this is the thing...I just smoked a blunt of this and I swear it tastes exactly like Gorilla Glue I shit you not. Even when breaking open a bud it gives off this potent diesel sweet deep kush like aroma. So I'm confused this stuff looks like GSC but tastes and smells like GG4.

Powdery Mildew anyone?

Powdery Mildew anyone?

So I've been dealing with powdery mildew for quite some time now and I picked up this product because the remedies I was using just wasn't enough. I've been using this every 10 to 14 days and I haven't seen any mildew what so ever. Started on the plants that I recently harvested and the ones that I have in flower right now and the plants are fine. Now this stuff does have a pasta seasoning smell to it but dies off within a day or so and doesn't leave any shiny residue on the leaves afterwards either. So far I gotta say it's been kicking ass. Hopefully this will help with anyone reading this that may be having issues with pm and are at the end of their wits lol. Yada!!!
