I have a 73 gram box that I weigh my trim in for yield percentages when I make bubble. You can fit over a half lb. in that.

Akss- I remember getting funny looks from the office supply store employees when purchasing those "letter scales", lol! Wildly inaccurate too, I remember clamping a nickel into the jaws, and bending the indicator to calibrate. They were probably designed by the government to complicate drug sales.

i remember the good old days (?) when they just threw a bunch of weed in a brown paper lunch bag and charged yah 10 bucks...then it was 4 fingers in a baggie for 10...then 20...

i won't even weigh out that little,easier to just give them some weed for free at that point...

Columbian brown with more seeded flowers. $40
Thai Sticks on the stick with string.
Occasional exotics, Gold, Jamaican Lambs Bread, Panama Red, Moroccan Hash.

I was pretty fortnite in the beginning of time. Smoked my first doob at 7 years old. Like most others it was mexi for the first few years and then my older brother that got me hooked on this shit started dealing and it wasn't long before the imports started showing up. At the ripe old age of 10 I was slinging lids of lumbo. And then the homegrown started making the scene. Big fat untrimmed buds that smelled like Christmas trees. Fuckers started driving the price up from 100 bux an elbow to 150 for the sinsemillia.
Fuck if I'd known what I know now I'd have only bought the seedy Columbian and Mexican.

My hash days didn't start till I was 15 and a friend had to join the army to keep outta jail. They shipped him to Germany and it was game on.
Sure I had smoke hash and even bought a vial or 40 of Rick simpson oil when it was just called hash oil but this was another level for me. Pot was hard to come by in Germany and what ya did fin d was shitty and over priced. So we started an international trade lol. I'd send him a few zips in a candle and he'd send me a candle with a few plates of hash but my favorite was bubblegum black. It came in a ball instead of a pressed block. That shit would knock your dick in the dirt lol

I didn't understand that you needed to include the bag weight when I started out. Only took a few ounces (and a kindly old drug dealer) to explain that while you calibrate your scale with a nickel to equal 5 grams...that is including 1.5 grams of plastic bag weight. Its 3.5 grams of weed, plus whatever the bag weighs. I couldn't figure out why I didn't have 8 8ths in an ounce.

Funny story, my dad used to trade blue jeans for hash, when he was stationed in Frankfurt in the 80s. I think he even got a beater car for a few pair of Levi's.

This is exactly how I remember it , I can add that I got my very first sinemilla sent to me on the East Coast in 1981 just in time for the spring grateful dead tour it was $200 an ounce which was outrages but it was big fat green pine smelling buds with red hairs, A real novelty item at a time

I always did the nickle thing with the hanging hand scales too.

Then I carried that over to the digis.
But I was like 37 or 38 when I realized that any new denomination bill weighs exactly one gram.

It's good to use both to calibrate. Just because it's dead on on 5g doesn't mean it's exactly right at other measurements.

Or if you just have a balance scale you could weigh out a q with a nickel and 2 bills.

I just had to turn two Cheisels right side up, the taproots were growing up! I also carefully dug around in one of the RKS cells with a dental pick, and it had a taproot heading in the right direction. Just waiting for them to break surface.....

mornin campers...

yup,slept in pretty late today,luxuriating in the dog free bed and now enjoying drinking coffee without being pestered every 5 minutes...

just need to waste most of the day going to wallyworld to stock up on food...just have to smoke enough pot before i go and bring the folding camp stool...hopefully as a talisman against long lines...3 times now i've had to wait 1 1/2 hours...

and tonight i need to see how close i got the timers to agree...probably about time to replace the timer on the lighting control panel...in the spring when i go back to the tents...for now i'm just glad to have the main flower room going...

Went to go get some promix and found my battery was dead. It was 4 days since I last went for something. I guess I need to start my truck every few days. I do have a trickle charger I could leave on.
