Why digital, sorry I missed your update. Looks like it came through alright though in the end.
I've done the same thing and it's fine man, I'd rather have perfect looking buds than bigger yields and be unhappy and that's just me I love taking pictures so I need the plants perfect. So did you take any clones off those bushes then? They were OG right? They do look good no matter the PH problem. Oh so do you notice a big difference with your reptile bulb in for more UVB's...? I wanted to throw one reptile light I have in my box, but if there's not much difference than should I?

let me throw out there right away that i think the UVB help make the bud more sadative. my usualy strain has made me very sleep for hours after i smoke. its way creepy. plus its more sadative then i remember. although not as much right away effect and head high as last few grows... probably my lock-up and other problems. anyways let the update begin!caligreen said:

northern cal OG according to the dispensary. it purples quite easily and seams to have a different bud structure.
i made some BHO
always enjoyable.
packed away some smoke for the months to come
now i can sit back and watch the temps in peace. just me and the buds.
its raining ...40% RH is high for 4th week.

the norcal OG is the 3 on the far right, there the only purple ones.
im very satisfied with the smoke from the norcal OG

i flushed with RO water...about5 gallons through each bucket, there soil, so i draged them into my bathtub and brought a jug of glacier RO in and slowly poured 5 gal into each bucket/plant.medgrowr02 said:

so what strain is that? i have some of Abusive's OG Kush and some "SFV" Og Kush in 12/12 and would appreciate any tips or pointers.. those look like seedplants tho

yea i have..
was outdoors...was decent smoke...i should have left it grow another week...
you also have to understand ive got space constraints. this is my last grow anyway im moving in march/april. the side branches of any of my harvs have never been as big or lush as my center nugs...exceptions being a sog.
i think my purple Og was a renamed grape-ape.... smells like it...
the green Og was a renamed disel of some variety...
my OG's are nitrogen heavy feeders, and like alot of nuts 1500, 1800, 2200, 2500 ppms... SFV? did you get that near hollywood/glendale? i had some SFV flower from dispensary in glendale.. top notch. always have mag /cal/secondary minerals defs or on the boarder so i got to upp- the calmag.

magi-cal from technaflora is what im usin now...keeps those ugly secondary element def's at bay the og's are some of the nicest lookers in the area right now, and no, it ('sfv' ogk) was a gift from a kind friend, locally. thanks for clearin that genetics thing up, because i knew they didnt look like your run-of-the-mill kushes defintiely make the distinction if u ever pass around these cuttings to folks in order to prevent future mix-ups . be well and happy holidaze

i usualy giver a once a week feeding at desired ppm (1500-2500) and then in between i use RO and sensical. to about 200ppm so the leafs dont burn ive found this works best, my room is cold too so it takes a while for water to evap. ive had rooms where i water everyday...thoes times i use' feed, ro, ro, ro-sensical, ro,ro,feed,ro,ro, etc..
when the plants are chuging through water its most likely hot, they just need somthing to drink, not feed., oh and with kushes and heat if u have CO2 i notice they dont go into heat shock until about 94-96 , assuming theres airflow.

wow digital this thread really blew up again I thought you were abandoning it! Thanks for the info on the uvb rays. Yea I heard it makes the trichomes put on more amber, the uvb is the key I saw in a video. And your saying ti makes your buds more heavy and stoney, so your way stoned and tired. Well thats just fine for me, and I think I gotta add my little two tube reptile flouro to my box now. Great new start, those og's are danking. -NIRVANA UPDATE
within days of adding nirvana to my plants they started turning red/purple...my green OG's that have been in 55-70 temps 24/7 this whole time and last crop! last crop only the leafs would turn purple after the nitrogen yellowing.
the very distinctive smell of the nirvana seams to not be carried into the plant/flower itself and may have a better affect of the smell then sweetleaf.
im at work now but ill post pics tonight...

its a perpetual and ive got 10 beautiful 5-6 week flowering girls again!!!!

i just moved the last 4 of my veging clones into flower not even 5 days ago...
2 plants per bucket.. had some space problems.... and ive got to get these 4 done before 2-28-08 ive got an apt inspection on 3/8/08 =/- a few days for my moveout....

my insticts tell me that the UVB might play a part in the heavy sadativeness.
although i noticed absolutely no differance in the plant all the way through w/UVB...as my first run with a reptile UVB light it looks/smokes good...id say more noticeable then with a BLACKLIGHT.... and more then w/o uvb enrichment...although it could just be other factors to the quality differance from last few crops. ...
