Ive emialed unisource and never got a response, associated hose's website was hard for me to navigate so i couldn't really figure out where to go/what i needed from them....so ultimately i bought the kit from bhogart D: they did give me a discount tho...

but they are explaining that i dont need stainless braided hoses going from my -70 solvent tank, is this accurate? i was under the impression everything needed to be upgraded including the 6 inch hoses....

We have random lengths made at Associated Hose, Motion and Flow, or Unisource.

Yes the Eco green tank..I only have one port on my tank from BHOgart on my 1 lbs system as well. I am wanting to upgrade because my recovery tank is not recovering correctly so I used the Eco green tank with success the first time partially. Anyone know of tank that can hold 2-3 lbs of butane? I wish I had one with a water jacket built on to cool it with a water chiller.

If ive done my due diligence anything under 0° should be stainless steel and when you get the ss hoses you want them to be lined with ptfe. Process hose dot com is where I got all my ss hoses. Usually ships within a business day or two.

The Yellowjacket hoses have a rubber seal. Metal to metal is harder
to seal, hence copper crush washers. Problem is you can't reuse them but
for a few times. They supply one with the Drier/filters that go before the in on the appion.

Hey everyone, first off, thanks to everyone who throughout the year has posted a lot of helpful information, it helped me quite a bit.

Someone brought me a 5# bhogart brand new to use out here for our trim. I am heavily experienced in open blasting (since 2005 ish) but never got access to a closed loop until now. Assembled and got it running in 2 days by myself.

I did a run yesterday with only one 4x24 tube on it. Went pretty damn well, muffin in the oven now. I have a few concerns though.

I don't believe I got enough cans in the system. When I was loading cans, I loaded about 18-20 of them before it really stopped taking them in, it would only take like half the can. I unfortunately did not read about doing the whole recover thing to fit more cans in (I thought the idea was to load all the cans in the collection chamber, to get out the mystery oil without ever getting to the recovery chamber)

Anyway, I believe I am way under my solvent level. Also, I am off grid hours from town and didn't have a scale available so I never got to weigh my chamber.

I tried purging my recovery tank and a TON of air blasted out so I stopped. Should I let all the air escape that is in the recovery tank? The whole time when I was doing my run the red gauge never went over 50 psi.

So.. the questions.

Is there a way to somewhat check how much solvent I have in recovery? If so, is it easy to just throw in a few more cans? And if not, the best way is to empty my tank and start all over again?

Also, whats the best way people are using to scrape out their collection? I had kind of a tough time getting in there to scrape

Also, is a MT69 molecular transformation helpful/needed? A friend tells me I absolutely need one. Never even heard of it.

Thanks fellas

Pouring is much better than scraping. Sorry I can't help with the other questions. The best extracts come from 0-5 psi, but you need the butane to be cryogenic to achieve

1. I'm not sure what MT69 is? 2. Looks great! If you have a removable bottom plate it's easy to scrape with a razor blade. 3. You're ok to keep the tane in there imo and add more as needed. I'm sure you could ask Bhogart on the weight of the tank dry? Maybe then weigh it and have an idea. Anyways just my two cents. Good luck bud!

Thanks,

I def don't have a removable bottom. It's a huge chamber. I'd like to pour it out but that was not happening. Way too sticky

Mt69 google it quick sorry I'm on sat internet so I don't have the link handy but he highly recommended that I use one

Good idea. I'll contact bhogart on the estimate weight
