Yeah some people do it with fewer tops to increase speed of veg time but it is something I've been looking into for a while figuring out footprint size and veg time. It is supposedly better for indica dom. varieties but seems to work well for most good genetics even if it is used to create a strong plant for Scrog setups. I've been talking to cheffz about the potential increase in quality/quantity yield. Since its foundation other than training is a strong root system it looks very promising with the dwc concept. This the link that explains it the best.

Tleaf I have heard there should be high yields from her...but honestly seeing her up close...no different really than any other gal early on...time will tell...I will say that I dont like how easy the leaves snap off if bent...I dint know what that means but I dont think its a good sign for a gal that has weight :dunno: I had planned to grow a full batch of her but she is being replaced by the GG4...oh and they are shinny because they were sprayed with neem oil :D

Bug whats up my man...the leaves come out really big early on in coco for me :dunno:

egrower thanks for that link on mainlining by the way...scrogging really seems the way to go for myself...I see better yields with prettier buds...now mainlining...I really dont have the time for that...my next round I plan to add more buckets to fill the space faster with stalks rather than stems that I have now...at least that is how I see it in theory lol

gotta go tend to the ladies :smoke out:

Huey, What is your take on this? In your opinion what would be better?

Running two 3 x 3 tents each with 600 Watt MH Digilux?
Or one 5 x 5 like your son with the 1000W DE Bulb?

Oh yah...Good evening :tiphat:

BayBHuey

La Vida Loca
Whats up Unreg...thats a good question...you would have to way the pros and cons...2 tents you can do more with...the DE will kick out more with less...it boils down to needs I think

I have run 600's though and they just dont give you buds like the 1000's

Myself...I would have to go DE...you have to think about the hood on the DE though because the bulb is not supposed to be cooled...the hood my son got passes the air through the hood section rather than the bulb section if that makes sense lol :bashhead:

whiteberrieS yeah the remote 120/240 was a no brainer when compared to the gavita...also the extra headroom needed by the gavita made the choice kinda easy :D and thanks for the kind words buddy
