Glad you are feeling the LED vibe, but I feel your opinion is strong, which can be good and bad. Bad here, because you certainly disdain factual info, thats for sure.

Why would you brush aside the Cree/Nichia comment? I have read and read well. I love that you are making an effort, an honest one though?

No one posted a single thing, there isn't much on the Interwebz in termz of what you are actually using, bin diode, drivers, etc etc etc.

So until then, I would NEVER consider your product just from that fact alone. And your sway from the real argument.


Some are here to push the boundaries of LED and lighting in general and will always be that way, some will just try to make a buck along the way.

I can guess which category y'all are in. Opinion's can be changed, always, but nothing is impressive about your lights other than better tech is available for less coin, its that simple.

You say you weren't hateful but you nearly began your first comment with, "Fuk cheapass led lights" and came across hostile. Just like you are right now. So, I didn't want to keep getting bashed in another one of your replies. I'm a Christian girl and I don't like the blasphemy.
As for the Cree thing, I did answer about that. I'll paste it here:

But, Cree has recently changed the way the diode plugs into the LED so while we still have inventory that contain the Cree diodes, their diodes won't fit our lights for much longer. In our market, we are constantly evolving and doing everything to stay ahead of the others. People want to know so many secret details about our spectrum that we can't say out in the open because it would hurt our edge. It won't even matter in a couple of months because our next model will make these issues not even a question. We really are trying here at Lush to be honest but we can't reveal everything. We let our results speak for us. That's why we do post so many pictures. Trust me, we aren't just here making a buck. We're a small Michigan based company. We have given away so many lights for charitable purposes, research, testing, marketing reasons to get our name branded, etc. We're not sitting fat someplace warm counting dollars. We lost $44K in lights through theft a few months ago. We just want to make enough to be profitable and to help others who need quality when it comes to meds. That's what our lights were designed to do: bring out everything in the plant to be better medicine and to get more out of the garden because plant counts are limited in many places. Michigan gets only 72 plants. That's what inspired my husband to create Lush. It's love, pride and his passion to provide for his family. You don't have to buy Lush. You don't have to buy LED. You're entitled to your opinion.

I have no doubt your lights are good if not great! I also understand that u can't reviel certan data because of the market someone can try to hijack you sprectrum for there own gain. Now with that said I can't wait to see what 1 actual light will do like dr. Young is gonna demostrate for us. I know lots of weight is on his shoulders for this Grow..

Also I hope that u have atleast pattened your spectrum. I would hate to spend 1500.00 then see some chinese knocking it off for 500.00. Better to protect your assets. Lol

That is the very reason why we can't reveal delicate information about our spectrum. It does protect us but also protects our customer's investment. So true!

Well a hps bulb should be replaced every 2nd grow, LEDs last about 10 years. Yes LEDs can penetrate deeper into the canopy than hps lights. You really have to try it for yourself, I did and plan on switching to all LEDs. People dogging on LEDs are either not educated or can't afford them.

Yo RED theses hps have 4 grows on them thats 5 week veg and 43- 46 days flowering x 4

how much would it cost to run 5 x 15 table in led its cost me 600 bucks for 3000 watts to make 7 3/4 pounds dry let alone another 3/4 pound of hash as well

Either you ran 400 watters or less to see a bug difference to change your mind to LED cause 1000 watters are the bad boys on the block

A commercial grower would get a discount for making a real order instead of being picky about the price of single light. Plus why would a commercial grower be concerned about one time price of a light when they could use a 1/3rd the electricity, and cooling would be effortless. Equaling HUGE savings between the light, and cooling. Plus better, more valuable product.

your being fooled into thinking LED does not produce heat it produces same watt per watt as any other you just in a big room put it in box same area its is rated to cover then come back and tell us its just as cool out side the box as it is inside lol

The Lush fixtures are setup so the fixture is kept around or below 100*F...
I'm running the Dominator 2x which is 435w, and I had 2x42w CFLs, and 4x26w CFLs
188w of CFL... and I had fans blowing on each bulb... I had a 24" fan, and 4" fan blowing on the bulbs themselves.. The room actually didnt even get warmer when I put the LED fixture in. The 24" room fan isnt even doing anything, but blowing around the air. It isnt cooling the fixture at all, the CFLs were being cooled so it would have actually been hotter with CFLs.

I was just trying to veg big enough so I could take cuts, but after I topped them I just threw them into flower so they would stretch faster. I took cuts, and just let them keep going so I could judge them/ figure out keepers. I was going to either get the 1k HPS or just do a test run with 250-300w of CFL to pass time while the cuts Veg into mommas.
Then I became enlightened, and decided to go with LED. Now I will never have to worry about dealing with a loud,oversized HPS setup.

Well I know if I had a lush dom 2xl you know jointop I would Absolutely give it a fair assessment. I am not bias in any way I like LEDs. I am just not sure I can drop 1500.00 to figure out if it will produce like my 1k. Shit I would be willing to show whatever light that would cover a 4x4 and u know I wouldn't mess with the results it would be lush grown all the way.

But to be fair dr. Young is gonna show what a light can do. Like I said I just hope he keeps it lush which I am sure he will.

Also with lush's statement about getting robbed of 44k worth of units that probably hurt. Then you had another bunch of people who didn't test lush lights properly like I would of like to have seen so they lost money that way as well. Even though I think they can use those giving lights as tax right offs just like anything else so I know it probably doesn't even out because Uncle Sam always gets us one way or another.

I am sure if they didn't get robbed or give lights out to incompetent testers they probably would offer more lights for testing. If you ever need another tester that will absolutely test the light the way it should be done lush I am here at your disposal. If I didn't finish the test like some of these idiots that you gave lights to I would even send the light back for not fulfilling my obligation. Use me and abuse me I am at your mercy whenever u might have another light u want someone to test for ya.
