When I transplanted all of these, I put a handful of fresh ewc from my bin that had a ton of worms crawling through it in each of the holes.

You can see where they come up at night to get hydrated from the blumats.
They leave fresh ewc at the bases of my plants every day.

Pretty cool and hella frosty man.

I need to get some Blumats been wanting a deck and patio kit for several years now and never seem to buy one. Maybe next upgrade for my little garden.

What are you going to do with your soil in those beds at the end of this cycle? If you're not no-tilling yet you should consider it!

Are you pulling the blumats at the end of the grow and soaking them or are you just leaving them in place? Looks great, as usual!

I put freshly soaked/filled blumats in at the beginning of every run. They'd probably be good for 2 or 3 runs, but it's easier to get them set in at the beginning then having to change one cause its fucked up mid cycle.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm only using the blumat digital right now and I notice that it needs topping off every couple of months for accuracy. If I ever pull my blumats out of the shed I'll have to do like you and have some soaking ready to replace the ones already in the beds.

Yeah, I have a bunch of blumats left over when I grew much more weed, so I keep like 50 carrots in a 5 gallon bucket of water to have on hand for whenever.

Funny, because I've been saying such things for...well...about 10 years now...but more adamantly for the past 5 or so. The first few years I stayed real quiet as I was still learning the ropes myself on a lot of not just organic gardening, but growing cannabis in general.

That and well, it didn't do any good to tell people why mine was better - I had an edge up and in those days, organic herbs were NOT the norm and I was certainly able to get better rates in the early 2k's because of it. Wasn't going to shoot myself in the foot... ;)

10 years ago huh? Starting to sound like father time. Probably had to walk to the feed store up hill both ways in the snow just to buy some alfalfa. :moon:

Apollo 11, Ldawg, Shire, ECSD.

There are a couple thrips in there trying to survive. I'm keeping an eye on them, I haven't sprayed, I may not have to.

And finally a whole bunch of Shire pics, flipped 9/17, so about 68 days old. Taco leaves are from the 45%RH.
