And they swept the Angels....so that's the two teams with the best records in baseball. I haven't seen defense like this ever. And their speed. And their pitching/bullpen, all stellar.

Mike Matheny is taking tons of shit in the press today, and rightfully so. It was bad enough we had players that forgot the fundementals of the game like catching the ball and throwing to first base, but then Matheny decides it's a good idea to put in Wacha in the bottom of the 9th when he hadn't pitched in 20 days, and while our star closer was already warmed up. Brilliant! He made a few mistakes throughout the series, but that was just bad.

Oh well, hindsight is easy and it's over now. I will be rooting for the national league of course

It should be a very exciting series...Im sure fox and the advertisers would like it to go 7 games, but there have been a lot of sweeps this year it seems.
