any kiss users have exp. with veg+bloom

I think the issue is, I am not letting the FWOK dry out enough.. I have been feeding/watering every other day regardless if it has been losing 1/2 its weight. I was trying to pump new nutes into em but I think I am going to start letting them dry out more. I messed up by transplanting it straight from clone into 1/2gals. I should have went a little smaller but oh well. You live and you learn. All about trial and error

The fwok will stay wet if you use too much of the conditioner. I have been using 1/4-1/2 recommended rate and it is plenty.

I ran the gorilla glue at 1.6 this run and will be dropping it down to 1.3 after seeing your colas Dan. Thanks for sharing your feed info.

Do you have a suggestion to stop plant stretch dan?

if your looking for a PGR (plant growth restrictor ) the only safe one i've found to use is MB ferts stretch stopper . but really you should use training to keep them short if needed . use a net & scrog them into the net , or top the shit out of them & the tie them back . i like that method & it works very well . its in those links to my pics , you can see how i topped & tied them back for nice bushes .

Ahhh right on thanks dan. I stole your pipe cleaner / clip idea for pulling branches down! Super ez and pro. What are your thoughts on the GG4 in FWOK in my previous post? They are stretching super hard and growth is kind of slow. Have you ran into this problem? Like I said I had my lights on 18/6. I read that plants stretch kind of hard in 18/6 so I changed it to 20/4. I am going to try a few test plants and bump the ec up to 1.2 and 1.4 on a few plants and see how they respond.

what is FWOK ?? i'm assuming is a soil . if it is , i'd let it dry out more like you mentioned . soggy soils don't really let the O2 in as needed & the roots suffer from it . let it dry out to more than half its wet weight before adding any more water to it . if its got any nutes in it at all , give it a plain water feeding every other watering . soil is ALOT different than coco & i don't know which you have more experiance with .

FWOK is that stuff hydroponic research is selling as a medium

seems like its loose rockwool plus some kind of drainage rock

my experience with rockwool is that you have to let it get dry as a desert then soak it again, kind of a pain if you dont have timers and are hand watering

First one is day 25 of this purple strain that smells like straight fruit. A buddy gave me a cut and he cant remember the name of it. Got two tables full of it. The buds are deep purple. Could be GDP. 2nd is the same strain in the middle of week 6. It is a sativa dominant strain. Took my buddy about 9-10 weeks for them to finish. All getting V+B

I ran the dirty veg+bloom last year outside...was way impressed..this year wanted to try earth juice sea blast outside...well i wish i stayed with Veg+Bloom....the earth juice is good..but nothing like V+B dirty...

Last year plants were just so healthy looking and the buds were rock solid...I grew some of the same strains this year and its not the same...the tric production was a bit off and buds were not as hard...Chris gave me a code for free shipping on the 5 pound container and thats what I am getting for next year outside...I have tried a lot of ferts and this one worked the best..its so simple...

I wanted to say thankyou to Dansbuds , Rives and the rest of the people on here that have put the Veg+Bloom data out there for us. I wasn't really looking for a replacement nutrient but with the results you guys are getting with the veg + bloom and the offer of a free sample why not. My girls in veg are loving it and I will be stocking up soon!
Oh btw my browser had the same warning with firefox browser. I then opened it google chrome and it worked fine :dunno:

Veg+Bloom.....love it love it love it....if you use well water you must try the formula for hard water..my stuff has never looked better...not one leaf has a deficiency and the floppiest of flowers...worth every penny...when I switched to coco my yield went up 30% and with the Veg+Bloom it increased another 30%...love it love it love it...DJXX

Im running aeroponic tables and just started (this run) with the veg+bloom. My tap is 400ppm and i was sick of making RO water and the waste it creates. I use the hardwater version with my tap and so far so good! Actually its looking awesome! Anybody else run this stuff in aero? I was wondering if you add back the V&B between res changes to maintain desired EC?

the difference between veg+bloom and earth juice is like the difference between viagra from pfizer and the horney goat weed extract from the dimly lit chinese liquor store on the corner.

This thread got big so I haven't looked but has anybody tried the HD formula yet?

Seems like it's one part V&B one part Dirty?

I have a little of both to play with

BTW. Been rocking this stuff 2 years and been real happy. The barrage of new nutes lately has me thinking twice about monogamy to HR

Ok
I've skimmed throught this thread.
I use coco perlite with the slip method.
I have used maxi bloom before with good results
So
Can I get a opinion on if vbdirty is a good fit for coco?
It's either vb hard water or vb dirty.
I have gone to their website and I can't finger it out
Also
I see VB has a hard or soft water options.
Does the VB Dirty need these options or does it work in both?
Thanks

Best results in coco with half tap / half dirty. So order both. +life best around .2-.5g per gallon veg, .1-.2g flower. +size you can either use at 1g per gallon from week 3 to flush or 1g per gallon around 30 days for around a week.
