I have a stinky blue cheese cut that will make your place smell like a skunk is nearby, but still not quite the RKS smell. I just found a seed this week, planted it and it sprouted yesterday. But the seed was so small I didn't even know what it was at first. When I examined closely I seen the tiger stripes and was excited. It's interesting that the RKS seeds are big as peas and this one seed was the smallest mature seed I've ever seen. I was hoping this seed might have the skunk trait.

I don't grow it myself but as far as I know its run by clone. Although they say some have tinkered with it over time, partly to keep it vigorous. The skunky side seems to remain dominant though.
Mid to late 80's Afghanis's were more pine acrid , than creamy sweet..
Afghanistan is a big place . there are many pheno types of Afghanis there
Every afghan i have grown/ sampled from wide leaf to narrow all have a musky-spice/sweat smell that is unique to ghanis. I have a very early flowering ghani that has heavy serrations and very narrow pure sativa leaves unlike other ghani's i've grown. have you seen this type before?

a guy i met up north recently told me about his pure afghani sativa (narrow leaf indica), yes its true, it does happen

anyway this is their Cheese x Cranberry Haze (Rosa) i grow.
the pheno is a F2 generation and was harvested after 56 days.
every plant has many of the cheese attributes people where talking in the cheese thread.
the serration thing, lime green buds, relative little hair, heavy odor and so on. this one is the most afghan/skunk dominat I've had so far, though it is no "roadkill". the scent is very sour, more like cranberry haze, but still true skunk not sweet. it literally sticks on you. I did not expect a finish under 9 weeks so i did not flush when it was nearly done in week 7. this pheno could be harvested with all cloudy trichs at day 49 after a flush in week 6.
now on day 56 most trichs were already amber. my fastest plant besides Planck (Santa Maria) so far. I'm curious about the high of this one.
I also have some other skunk varieties from shops flowering atm

the Shiva cut was sold to me as "Purple Haze" but i soon noticed i got fucked here. clone shops what? always thrilling buying a pig in a poke^^
still in week 5-7, not ready yet so more about them later. so far I noticed much more "ugly" scents on them, like burned rubber i'd say.
but the odor isn't as strong as the Rosa's and doesn't stick that pungent.
maybe I'll do some S1 incrossing just 4 fun to get someway near a RKS
reading this thread and all of you guy's interesting inputs, I appreciate the skunk much more than I did before. or lets say what i would call skunk now, after learning so much here. cheerz

Border regions would be clues to different afghani phenos , sounds kinda like a mazar , or paki , turk uzbeki , iran has mostly thin leaf varieties also ...

Your right here, ive had a Sativa seed plant out of the old afghanni num/1 seed line back in 2004, - its merely a sativa phenotype though, yield was poor, high was more heady.
Quite possible, the narrow leaf ghani I have is quite old in terms of collection 25+ years.

This sounds kinda promising......as far as a piney skunk stank.......I remember piney skunk bud going around back in the day......powerful skunk odor with pine on the back end.

i had a few aghani seeds that went 10 weeks.. and some that went 7-8.. lots of phenos in the seeds that get collected out there. atleast NOWADAYS

I know this is old or older but thought people may be interested in some find ive got ... I was told this guy out east had a true RKS so figured what the hell I'll give her one more shot since others have told me the same with nothing more then another sweet skunk from someone who never obviously smelled a true RKS so anyways i sent the guy what cuts he wanted for the skunk but we started out trading for not as rare cuts first since as always people say they want to be sure i wont whore the cuts out and 6 months or so later i now got this cut and he said its traced back 80 years which i like to know as much about a cut but these unrooted cuts came smelling like straight nasty RKS ass and when first flowering all the neighbors that know i grow even two blocks away can smell this nasty skunk so to break it down i reversed this skunk and pollen was not viable so tried again and same thing some seeds this time but they were white like Loompas headband ...it wont reverse like id like and the owner said same happens when he reversed it so im cubing it now and will see how close i can get to keeping the seeds as solid as possible so im at the point where in about 6 months I'll have seed locked down and have them out to testers but this skunk is a huge yielder also super dark almost black tar resin looking trics when finished so like blue berry will have the blue trics this thing has super dark trics and while trimming you would almost have to wear a mask and your eyes will even water lol and then jarred people can still smell it if its in another room in jars so its that nasty which i remember it being in the 80s when id get ahold of the true RKS so its the real deal so hopefully in 6 months or so its on the streets and as of now just one bx to it which i have it hit to a solid male found in some afghan landrace seeds and is still mostly RKS phenos so its def dominant in even the f1 seed stock so have high hopes to finally have seed for all to enjoy that want a true RKS like ive been searching for since i started growing again in the early 90s and was hard to find even then ...there were closer to RKS strains around but nothing like this bad boy ive had breeders smell this skunk and offer me big bucks but its gonna be a dank maker not a money maker so anyone looking for real dank im about to start releasing other seed aswell for free or close to it atleast just need to make enough to cover advertisment and such but i def want people to all have this RKS that been looking like i have been for years to bebable to get it for trade or free if ya dont have anything to offer up so fingers crossed but i wouldnt have posted if i didnt thibk it was gonna be a go the f1 cross and first bx already is DANKER then anything ive seen in 20 years so KindBudz is my nickname and so I'll be sure to post once i get a way to get them out there but my name will be on them so people know what it is also im naming it tru RKS so its easier for people ive told to identify as they drop but I'll keep people linked up if its not against the rules here for it and I'll keep this post updated for you all watching this thread
