I use one of these in a small tote with a float valve and a fan to blow the fog out. There's also a 5 disc round fogger in there so 15 discs total. Keeps my humidity on point and doesn't have to run constantly now that I rebuilt it with a smaller container.

I run it constantly with the light on but I could for sure get away with running it less just haven't rigged up a timer yet. A full topoff usually last around 8hrs, I manually top it off. My setup cost about 130 and it keeps my humidity at 70 and my rooms not even sealed.

300$ for a mini Hydrofogger YIKES! Thats the cost of my new A/C :/

Thats a big investment for a small guy like me.

Also an item I refuse to buy in any condition besides new.

Good link tho - thx

Go to the thrift store, and buy a humidifier. They are great for little spaces. Usually less than $15.

Something to keep in mind with the foggers is that they don't typically last that long. Most people I know that use them replace them within a year or sooner.

They do work wonders though.

Reading everyone's acceptance to refill the rez every 8 hours or however often 2 gals would require, I've realized.. ..I'm really f*cking lazy

I wouldn't do that shit I was just politely looking past it b/c not everyone wants my advice... but I would put a float on it. lol

Lookin' really nice mang! Looks like you've had some smooth sailing for a while, huh? Their trough is pretty full too, I'm going to take that to mean your soil test and subsequent amendments are working in your favor. :headbange

Awh man I miss the "edge forums" so much although the pain has died a little over the years lol. I joined OG around 01' what a site it was and the membership was through the roof. Do you remember that crazy Russian guy that always had semi naked chicks in his garden? I think he was growing in shipping containers buried underground lol.

You had a 400 under the bed? You've come a long way Bobble, what were ya growing under that 400?

HGO

I have very vague memories of OG tbh. I never posted. Growing was just a pipe dream at that time. I was in the beginning of my college career... Didn't really know what I wanted to do with myself. I knew I liked weed and I knew other people who liked weed, and it was always a challenge to get it. After being questioned by a customs agent if I was conducting any international business during my weekend in mexico... like the 4th long weekend in less than a year... I decided I had better start producing my weed and keep it a secret. Less risk.

So I was living at the fraternity party house at this time in my life... lol Anyway I inherited a 3' tall platform one of the guys had built for their mattress in place of a normal box and frame set. It was good for extra storage... or hanging a 400w lamp lol... if I had known better I would have got a 250w. I was growing bagseed duh! I didn't even know you could buy high quality seeds back then. I'd heard of it but I didn't trust it. Thought it was crazy. I never grew anything substantial... Maybe a couple ounces here and there. I know I grew like 4oz of purps once and I was so proud of myself... lol I remember selling wet buds right off the plant, barely even trimmed, and people were happy to buy it b/c they couldn't get that quality anywhere. I thought it would be so cool to make a living growing, but no way would that ever be my reality! Well, just maybe, but I highly doubted it! I didn't exactly grow up in this industry.

Anyway... There's part of the story of how I got started. :) Obviously times have changed a little.

That's interesting....very similar story here...different motivations for getting started, but..

I built a queen sized loft frame out of 2 x 6 and roofing joists - over kill for sure - and I literally measured down from the ceiling with my special lady friend in place to determine just how tall I could make it...ROFL!! I had a 400w under there at one end...coat rack and shoe storage at the other...

However, that was my second "setup". My first was a 6ft tall box made out of 1/8" paneling and a 1 x 1 frame - with vertical 4ft T-8's around the walls...hehehe...

I still chuckle at how I learned to grow aeroponics first...talk about jumping in head first. Even my my first tubes outta poly fence posts.

Ohhhhh the memories... :joint:

BY FAR the best source for pong fogger based humidifying needs.

House of Hydro

They have videos on how to make the humidifier too, and wonderful customer service.

I like that they come with a float for the fogger to sit in so that they're always sitting in the perfect water level.
