These plants have a real grape smell to them. I hope it stays smelling like grape after the curing. Her buds are compact compared to GG.

My Goblin Queen smells like grapes too. Finally had a chance to snap a picture of her. She is filling in nicer then anything in the room.

Took 10 samples to the lab for testing today.
Had to drive 75 miles to get there.
$500 paid in advance.

Following are being tested.

Nocturnals #2, 4, 6, and 8

I was told that my older cuts are not gonna give as high a reading as they were within the first 4-5 sets of cuts.
This has been tracked according to results of other breeders watching there prize cuts diminishing in potency in time.
Gotta love science and good record keeping.

Whether good results or bad, I gotta know where my stuff rates.
A parent will always favor their own kids, science favors the facts.
Should get emailed results by Thursday.

Love the additions to the outdoor grow world this year.
I have found that most lines are not well tested outdoors.
But I feel that a good strain should grow well in and outdoors.

Gonna be a fun summer with Minions in the sun.

Looking forward to reading about the lab results. I notice that your GQ buds seem to stretch more than the GQ I'm running. My GG buds are stretching like that but the GQ is much more compact.

Lab results got me nervous.
Not looking forward to any bad results.
But can't compete on my opinion alone.

Just remember that Gob Q is an F-1 hybrid.
I have 8 new phenos of GQ for a total of 10.
I see and smell similarities, but also see 10 diff individuals.

Gob Girl is another F-1, but feminized.
So you really can't relate one to another until the line gets stabilized, but doubt I'll take GQ another step forward due to the mutation rates.

All we can look forward to is finding some nice cuts to keep in our stables at this point.

SG, I'm back on the pheno hunt for you. I just dropped seeds of Overlord, Ravnus, Nocturnal, Goblin Queen and Halo 2X. I was holding off until I got my summer run ready to go outside. That will be in about 3 weeks. I didn't have too good of luck with the last seedlings. I mostly got males. So it should even out and I'll get mostly females. At least that's the plan.

Looks like this kid might be moving to Lake Tahoe in 6 months...can't wait for better outdoor growing conditions....if it ends up happening.

Minion City Diesel and Kraken seedlings. Kraken is 1 node faster than the MCD as I popped them in soil on the same day. Kraken is showing shorter, stockier growth with a more sativa leaf structure. MCD had a little weird leaf curling on the first set of leaves, but is showing no signs of such now. It is definitely showing to be more sativa in structure in terms of height and space between nodes. The leaves are a lot more indica in structure, however.

I bet your lab results come back better then you think they will.

And you can't always go just by lab results, I had a plant tested one time that would stone you to the bone. It still is one of the strongest that I have grown, but the test only came back at 13% THC 2.3 CBD 1.4 CBND. I think that there is more to the other turpins that they still don't know what they do. Just my .02 cents.

You're right about the terpenes.
There are a dozen different terpenes that have symbiotic relationships with THC.
Flavors and scent is always a must.

Lab work is to find me a cut to take to the big show.
Nothing has won a cup under 20% THC in some time.
I need to hit that mark to have a shot in the future.
Folks wanna be fucked up, but they want to taste it before they're wasted.
