That sux bro! I know the feeling tho,.... I stumbled across a couple thrips in my flowering room last week,...... I'm all kind of paranoid about mites now, thought I spotted one,.... couldn't get a good look with the microscope so I just cut the leaf off anyway.

Finally got'er vented through the chimney. I'm interested to see what this will do for the environmental situation, .. No longer recycling that hot air from the tent, .. Also interested to see how this will affect the stinkfest situation.

Not to mention the humidity factor involved in venting indoors,
especially in the summer time, bugs, mold , ect....
hope it works out for ya, sucks to be a prisoner of your own home.

Thanks for the positivity! I'm hoping it's a big improvement, .. We'll see. I will say, it FEELS better, knowing it's venting out the chimney, 60 feet in the air.

My buddy says to go ahead and remove the carbon filter from the exhaust lineup, now that we're spewing everything into the atmosphere itself, two stories up, ..

My personal vote? Leave that damned thing on! .. I'm interested to have the outlaws over in a week or so, see if they catch on to any stinkfest..

FINALLY starting to see some definitive yellowing. ... Up top! Too weird. I'm used to seeing the yellowing set in from the bottom-up, ..

More and more, I'm excited to get up and running w/ the hydro setup for the next batch. I have a Headband in a rigged DWC just vegging, and it's going CRAZY. Really seems to dig it.

Just checked the temps, .. Temps in the house - 77. Temps in the tent - 73.

VERY happy. Before today, when it was recirculating the tent-air, the temps would've been between 77-82.

I'm expecting that AK-47 to finish up quickly now, with these cooler bedtime temps.

The top of the plant is finally starting to yellow, .. Oddly enough, nothing on the bottom has begun to yellow.

Calyxes are looking good, but not full-on SWOLL yet.

Took'er down. .. Actually, I'm in the process of taking'er down.

She's a big baseball bat, so I just started snipping buds off from the bottom, ..

At the "center" of each of the buds (what would be the "inside" of the nug, against the main stem) is a small (but there) patch of PM.

Grumble. As I'm trimming, I'm sorting things into two piles - "smoke this," and "cook with that." (or QWISO - the PM'd buds..)

Got the old lady on a mission to the garden center, where she'll be picking up some 29% H2O2. Krunch has a thread about post-harvest PM treatment, .. Basically, it's "spray/soak the buds with a diluted mix of strong H2O2, put 'em in front of a fan, when they dry, viola, no more PM."

(If anyone has any experience with/thoughts on that, I'd love to hear it).

Anyway. Slightly annoyed.

Like I said in the last post, the AK-47 harvest was a bit tainted with PM.

Let's put it this way - it was far from an "outbreak" or "infestation" -- but the PM was definitely noticeable.. I'd say that of each bud (that made up that big cola - think: transformers), maybe 5% of it was [visually] affected with PM. The rest seemed unaffected.

I took some advice from Krunchbubble and sprayed the buds down with a ~3% H2O2 solution, and placed 'em in front of a fan, ..

Went out for dinner and a couple beers, got home, .. I have to say, I don't SEE the PM anymore..

My plan is to see how things look/smell/taste after a drying, .. If the PM is still very evident, it'll be brownies or QWISO.

Never a LOSS - just a matter of the proper application.

PM is Systemic by my understanding. Once it gets into a Mother plant every one of the clones will have it.

Neem (As i've heard) is one of a slew of things that prevents/ and/ or kills PM, and Neem will become Systemic in your plant as well when lightly applied to the roots as well as the leaves. (I mist the topsoil with the diluted spray until it's just moist, then water as usual)

Never seen PM in my garden even on the tightest buds during the hottest most humid days.

Could be coincidence, or just dumb F'n luck tho.

You'll notice my album is entitled "First organic grow, folly sure to ensue!"

And it shore did ensue.

Ended up with 27.2 grams. I chucked aside any buds that I THOUGHT MIGHT have any PM on 'em. Played it safe, I think - that is, probably threw more good herb in there than PM'd.

Ended up with about 17.2 grams of the good, about 10 of the this-skeeves-me-out-because-it-MIGHT-be-PM'd.

Can y'all tell which is which?

Either QWISO or baked goods with the junk. Suggestions?
