Its easy to spot the more sour limey ones you just gotta look in them bx3 and 4s, you gotta pop some beans tho. its the branchy ones that are stretchy that you want for that, those kinda remind me of the glue more. Mostly the thick slow growing ones are predominant in them 3sand 4s. You can pretty much top em once and tell which way they are leaning at a very young age by the way they respond. They are in there though.

To top, or not to top, that is the question.........

Should I top all 24x GG4's or grow them straight up?
Im putting 12 under each 600w lamp. Ide like to get the heaviest yield I can get from them.
Any suggestions from the Glue Crew?

Was thinking of topping them 1x, vegging for another 7 days, t/p from 2's to 5gln pots, then flip 7 days later.
Topping would give them around 10 tops which would be staked up.
Is there a better way to increase the yield on these long legged girls?

12 for each 600 is a lot if you are topping them. They will bush out more and overgrow your space. I wouldn't top if I needed to get 12 out of one 600.

I can fit 6 between the 2 lamps overlaping light. I have a 14'L x 6'W x 8'T space to grow in and I got a light mover with an add-a-lamp kit for 2 lights on the mover. Space isnt an issue. But I do want good lumen intensity.

So grow them straight up and just cut off the bottom 3rd?
If I did top, I would have 10 tops a plant. I would def need a long wide screen and pvc pipes w/ elbow fittings for 240 tops.

Speaking of topping. I topped the gg4 x sbd's last night.
One of them starting bleeding some type of resin/blood.
(It was also one a few plants that already stinks really hard:]!)
Ive seen that picture of the Punta Rojo, but I cant personally recall seeing this before.. but maybe i just havent noticed.
How uncommon is this?

and just for reference, this is a random clone that i topped last night also. (I think its a pure kush x stardawg, fwiw)

I think i heard once that plants that bleed are usually more potent, but that could be an old wife's tale.. or i could just be wishful thinking/remembering wrong.
Anybody know anything about this?

Yeah I've seen the red as well. Haven't seen any ties to potency but just a personal observation.

No room in my stable atm, but has the glue floated north into OR yet?

It's not uncommon, I have have seen this many times. From blood red to clear color..
:yeahthats

Damn , how much stretch is that ? 4x?
2x stretch in flower , most of that growth was the 20 day veg under 1000 watt MH's . next time i turn the wattage down for veg .

this was day 1 of flower , still under the MH for 9 more days .

I hate to say it, as I'm big believer in this strain, but so far mine is completely lackluster. I have the pre LA-Cup cut. The veg was very promising, it blew up to 35" in just 30 days. I use 54" cages and at least half of them are a foot over the cages after stretch, seriously massive for the amount of time they vegged. No bugs, no nute problems

I'm 4 weeks in, and my Banana running along side the GG4 is destroying it. My GG4 smells similar to my Headband/Sour OG cut, has lots of frost, but is laughable in bud size, strength, and density compared to the Banana it is running next to. Looks a full 2 weeks behind the Banana (same atmosphere, waterings, nutes, light, CO2, etc). Hopefully they decide to turn on soon... otherwise I have way too many other good strains to run this one again.
