Magnets on plants.......

Good luck with growing! I myself, don't believe that the magnets help at all, but I'm smart enough to know that the best thing for me and my time is to politely move on.

You know, my psuedo-science gibberish engineering degree, along with all my hive thinker friends, have absolutely no business in a real scientists lab, like your self.

Such an incredible scientist, whose sum total of experiments consists of slapping together what has been the most over used, hyper marketed fool's gold product, like magnets, to a bucket and calling it pie. A vicious product, one that snake oil salesman have been promoting since the gold rush as the next best miracle from everything from back aches to growing plants apparently lol.

I just hope anyone reading this doesn't believe a word of what you're saying.

Are the plants supposed to be stretchy and twiggy like that? They don't look like they are doing very good.

I remove most of the upper fan leafs to get more light to the nodes/buds

Especially since the plants get fed every 45 minutes 24/7 storing energy is unnecessary

Go to my thread to see how young they are, as well as how few days in flower

I don't understand why non believers feel the need to criticize, especially when the proof is in the pudding

Possibly because we don't want to go back to the dark ages of alchemy and end up burning witches ?

I just watched S 1 Episode 10 of the New Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey

It was about Michael Faraday

Perhaps the college you studied science at avoided his contributions

Funny thing about colleges, they don't teach you to think

They teach you that the only thing that's important is the curriculum

It takes a free thinker to go beyond that- think outside the box, so to speak

The new Cosmos is great. The old Cosmos was great as was its creator, Carl Sagan. Sagan wrote a book, The Demon Haunted World. In the book is a "baloney detection kit." Its a good read.

The scientific method works.

Let's see. Michael Faraday died in 1867. That is the same period when science as a whole was VERY limited and filled with errors and false bunked pseudo-science. You seem to harken back to a time when all one had to do was use a higher vocabulary to prove your theory and not use modern iron clad science that has been used to debunk all the bad science you keep pandering.
You keep claiming over and over again how it is "non believers" and that nobody is "thinking outside the box" because for some reason everyone that has a top tier education has actually wasted their money and nothing they have learned is "REAL" science. And that you and your obscure and ancient bunk pseudoscience is the "ONLY" real science there is.
Who are you and what scholastic background do you have? What credentials do you have to make such claims?
What if I told you that everything you write are the classic symptoms of dementia and/or schizophrenia? It is when an individual believes that they are right (usually about a subject they are not proficient or formally educated in) and it is the rest of society that is wrong, then surrounds themselves with nothing but sources of confirmation bias to insulate themselves with it. In other words, when you are the only one that can "see" the truth and everybody else (including leading authorities on the matter) are all wrong because of (insert your reason here) then you may want to take another look at yourself.
Usually when society has a conclusive and differing view that does not align itself with an individual's belief system that suffers from a mental illness, that individual will in fact "double down" in their rightness to further perpetuate their circular and fallible logic. And in their need to find a homeostasis within the society that does not align with their belief system, they then become social outcasts of their own creation.

I notice that when your "theories" are held to the factual scrutiny they deserve and fail on every level, that you then resort to an ad hominem defense by accusing everyone else of not being intelligent or you concoct an elaborate "Illuminati" type of conspiracy theory as responsible for the repression of your technology/information. You refuse to accept any REAL scientific research unless it aligns itself to your views. Example: You profess that your magnets and crystals really affect growing a plant and you stand behind that even though it has been PROVEN to be false and say that real science and education is wrong. Yet on the science of L.E.D. lighting, you embrace that science completely. You cannot cherry pick and choose the scientific facts that you like and ignore the rest.

And for the record, your theory about magnetic fields and plants are missing one huge component. You have ZERO testing equipment or hard data to SHOW and RECORD not only the presence of en electromagnetic field, but the polarity, strength, duration, intensity, and all of the other things that real science demands. The reason magnets do not work is because your theory has been blown out of the water to never return because it was held to that kind of testing and FAILED. The only real research in that field was when seeds were subjected to varying degree of EMF. The conclusion was that the only noticeable difference was LESS mean plant material.

Dont see a reason you guys bashing petflora, i dont believe this stuff either but let the man grow however he likes growing, we got the point he is not right and blablabla... We know you are against what going in here, if you have nothing to contribute leave because it ruins the thread!

I did contribute to this thread as have all those that have written before me. To allow bunk science to go unchecked means that you are allowing bad information and bad science to be passed off to those that aren't that smart as fact. Teaching bad information as fact is the worst kind of disservice that one can ever do in a community that benefits from the sharing of knowledge. So in actuality, the best "contributions" on this thread are from those that are standing up for intelligent science and speaking out when rubbish and pure nonsense are spouted out.

That is all you have to say? That is the laziest and most dishonest answer I have ever read. This is the cognitive dissonance you display is utterly astounding. When faced with OVERWHELMING proof you fail to see that you can be wrong and choose to double down on this completely lame cop out that it is society and all of their facts and science that are wrong. When you spout shit like that, it is an insult to every single person that has ever applied themselves to pursue an education or cracked a book to learn something.
And by the way, facts are not like history. Facts are facts and they become that way because of research by qualified scientists. They just don't let anyone write whatever theory they want and pass it off as scientific fact. Or do you not understand that? Where do you come up with this nonsense? I have shown you actual experiments by qualified people, unlike yourself, and you can only answer in some lame conspiracy theory manner? How about you show us your superduper controlled experiments and scientific testing equipment that has you believing you know more than real scientists? Until you can do that. You are a complete hack and nothing you say is worthless until you can show us your "experiments" and back it up with hard conclusive data. My money is on the fact that you have no clue how to conduct a true controlled experiment.

I'm sorry. Are you planning to fund such an experiment that would satisfy you?

My purpose is not to do controlled testing, it's to show that magnetics + flooming work

Again, I am not selling anything

It's simple and inexpensive. There is plenty of science supporting it, but you refuse to believe it

Obviously, nothing I can do or say is going to change your hive mind

Why not just let it go?

Here's something else to wrap your education around https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=284104

Redirecting to show me an article that was published from Australia in 2010 and never got any traction. You see, that is the problem with ignorant people. They ingest just enough information that they THINK they are an expert but without understanding that it is more than the sum of its parts.

Am I going to fund your experiment? Why? You are the one acting like the town crier going on about the bunk pseudoscience that has been proven to be false and yet you are still saying it works WITH scientific data to back it up. Well, where is it? What units of measurement are you using to quantify your experiment? What are the controls? Where and what are your testing parameters? You see, you are the one that has the uphill climb on trying to prove a negative. If it was dismissed by a panel of scientific peers with vast funding and resources, then what and who do you think you are to disprove it by growing shitty weed?

And for the record, magnetics DO NOT WORK. There is no science supporting it. In fact the study I posted proved quite the opposite. But yet you are still cherry picking your data and what you want to consider as a scientific fact.

I find it laughable that you consider anyone with an accredited education that does not agree with you as being part of some "hive mind". But yet as long as they are in alignment with your belief system you will accept everything as fact. As I stated earlier, and I can now stand behind with complete certainty that you are actually suffering from a serious mental illness.

I have learned one thing about you, you love to ramble on about things you have no clue about, for the sole reason that you never learned them in school, and therefor, they are false

Doesn't matter how you respond I am done with you

Quote "The boy isn't learning any science. The "coach" is doing this child a disservice training him to be a circus magician and not a scientist. He's not being taught anything about the physics of energy or anything about physics at all. It's a missed opportunity because the boy is obviously bright and interested in the project. It's unfortunate that he's being coached and instructed by someone who hasn't a clue about the real world of science."

People that believe this nonsense need to be culled from the gene pool. I find it comforting that the people that choose to believe in this are never successful and NEVER in positions to try and push this on the masses. But seriously, this kids parent's have totally indoctrinated him into this bullshit and should be burned alive for it. At least that way the kid would see the scientific reaction of hyper accelerated thermal combustion on organic material. That would be a better science lesson than anything he was spouting on about for almost 7 minutes. The kid seems bright and eager to learn, just think of what he could accomplish if he was taught actual science instead of magic crystals.

Since you are not here to learn...

Me thinks thou doest protest too much

Clearly a shill for the dark side

Guess I would agree but power of the mind can be very effective, even in healing. That's why placebos often work well, though I wouldn't totally rely on them but more on concrete scientific facts & proofs as you said. But even Einstein also believed in a "pantheistic" God.

Anecdotal references are not facts nor are they hard sciences. Growing plant matter is done through hard science and facts. Mythical sky friends and magical energy fields do not exist and do not in any way contribute to this hobby that we busy ourselves with. These kinds of threads do nothing but spread disinformation to those who are just starting out learning about growing and muddy's the water and when faced with the hard sciences, they cannot stand up in the light of day. <<<<<<<<edit<>>>>>>>>>>
