is your company hiring people outside of canada or is there regulations similar to colorado regarding who can work in the industry. that is some cool shit and i hope to be apart of something like that one day if it comes to CA or if i decide to pack up and go somewhere else. i honestly wouldn't care if that GH was pumping out mass market 55 day bubba kush, anything on that scale is impressive. since roughly 80% of the total market prefers cheaper meds its only common sense a large scale producer would focus on this. although the good companies will diversify and have their niche segment too.

in the meantime since i dont have VC backing or have rich family members, I'm trying to do things grassroots style and build up things myself, put in an offer today on 12 acres of AG land with irrigation supply, plans to start with just one large auto-dep greenhouse.

i will be using up whatever i have in my stash, and will also be opening up the menu to other strains form other breeders as well.

i cant give you a quote now becuase to complete my mission could take 5 years.

for the sake of the patients i want to provide the world largest menu, of diversified kinds.

there are a ton of people that actually dont like my mgm genetics line because of the potency/effects.

so i want to carry something for anyone, and am totally open to requests, even if only 1 person wants it, we will grow it.

please remember, i have had a license since there was only 2500 growers approved by hc for my own medical issues. so i intimitly understand the need for certain kinds for certain people, and i dont want anyone left in the dark.

please do not quote me, but i think starting off with 10 kinds is a good go, and expanding from there as i get a chance to select, breed and develop more.

i have already been asking a couple known and unknown breeders to jump on with us under a licensing agreement.

so i f i can offer 10-50 solid kinds of my own. and maybe another 10-50 of other known and soon to be known stuff i would be happy at that point.

for med-man brand i will be doing cup entrees and seed collecting over the next 18 months. meeting old friends from mexico and carribean where i used to live.

They will require a paper trail on to where any LP gets their genetics, and as of April 1st the MMAR is no longer an option for a legal source.

hi med-man you put new meaning on large green houses ,giant green houses would be more of a apt description ,hope you got a good system worked out ahead of time to deal with those pesky bugs that seem to love green houses and warm summer like conditions in general. maybe a clean room before you enter the growing area and filtration for your air intake and exhaust would save you a lot of problems down the road as plants start to be grown .good luck with your undertaking you got a massive space to regulate and control the biggest problems with green houses is not getting infestations . aloha cls

Hey MM, you are correct to assume that there are LP's on this board, but it's a bit paranoid to think we are following you. I myself am the head grower/RPIC of a facility in Maple Ridge that haven't gone public yet. I. feel my question was valid because aquiring starting material is going to be a big issue for new LP's, and I know the proces. Health Canada will require a paper trail of where the starting material comes from, it will be a challange for you to bring med man brand into the new MMPR.
I commend you on this project you are undertaking, I wouldn't want to be in your shoes. It's one thing growing in controled grow rooms, but acres of glass houses. Yikes......way over my head, and I've got over 25 years hands on experience cultivation cannabis.
I sincerely wish you the best of luck...you being the director of production, I would advise you to hire a greenhouse production expert, it would make your life a lot easier.

will you be able to share how you equip those green houses? i'd love to see how one ventilates such a massive area? also how to insure sufficient air movement evenly all over? will you use the soil thats on site? or you planning to truck in your own soil mix? beds or pots? sea of green or tree style? or maybe something in between? would probably be easier to have good air flow if you don't let the plants get bigger then 40% of your upward space.

i think i agree with the previous poster, even though i've built huge rooms, this is something else and you will save in the long run by getting a green house expert in to advise on the installations etc.

good points. its really not that big of an issue. i have 4 outs so far, with more popping up. so, i will agree with you man, everything has to be covered, and i am more concerened right now about the engineering of the rooms then getting any genes into the place.
