Forgot to mention we are looking to possibly do explosion proof rooms for when it does happen here in Cali or other states. I like giddyup but his crew doing those rooms is charging a lot more than needs to be. I disagree. When spending several thousand on a system, the research isn't usually done on a phone.

Green Dot has a slick site! Surprisingly it has been difficult tracking down accurate info in terms of requirements.

@careful... It still should look decent, but what ends up happening is that you get so busy you don't really look at your own website other than telling your guy to do this or that. I'll have to make sure I do use it... especially when we allow purchasing through it.

People do need to remember that what we do is mostly illegal so you can't exactly expect the same kind of website you are use to using elsewhere.

Right now I'm on a phone and the site is non functional IMO/IME. The site is broken. I was on the site on my desktop a few days ago checking things out. I work on stuff while on the crapper some times. So much to do and so little time.

@Gabe... what exactly do you want our website to do for you while you are on the crapper? you aren't buying a robinaire off amazon... the transaction is quite a bit more complex.

My phone got dropped, the shop took it apart, realized the screen they had wasn't compatible and would take some modifications, etc. Most everyone just uses their cell phone these days. Anyway, enough on this topic.

A6... I think it'll be the away it is for a while other than possible minor tweaks. I need to really work on our website, infrastructure, figure out ways to quickly pressure test welded pieces, etc

You're right I don't know the concentrate aspect of the biz at all. Helping a friend with a possible CO2 project in NorCal and figuring a few things out. Pretty much what I remembered long ago regarding Cali and butane. I know Terra Tech is setting up a CO2 facility in Oakland and has contracted with Eden for a custom system.

I like what Green Dot and Organa are doing for various reasons.

I'm talking to a friend's son who owns a dispensary in CO and looking at setting up a butane system to service his area cause there's nothing around. He already has a partner in Cali who will bring out his closed loop system. I don't know what he has. Next time I talk to him will recommend your company if he needs any more gear. I was talking to him about running the extraction facility yet that opportunity low on my priority list.

You better get on that CO thing if you want in..it is blowin up right now...a friend of a friend just up n moved from oregon to CO because he got a phone call from somebody over there making grade AAA oil and couldnt meet demand offered this guy a butt load of money....he put all his shit outside for free and bailed lol

If I had the funds Id already be set up over there...but...oregon is pretty close to full legal I believe

Agree CO is blowin up yet Cali is my home and would rather stay here. Looking at a few opportunities here. The gig I mentioned is hourly only to start with a possibility of some ownership. A close friend of mine in CO knew of a dispensary that was for sale not too long ago cheap and didn't tell me cause he hates dispensaries...D'Oh! That place is rocking it as they turned things around and also got a bit lucky. Now I may work for that dispensary lol.

There's aspects I like about butane extract and some I don't...mainly any residues. I know there's definitely a market for CO2 concentrates yet butane rules the market and know of some places that only accept butane extracts and in some dispensaries CO2 extracts don't sit on the shelf long.

Not here to bash you rb just wanted to say, that a crappy one page "html 1.0" site that has your actual products in a list with prices would be better for you than a really slick looking site like what you have, that does not have any products/prices in the shop. *shrugs*

I understand that is your opinion and there's no problem with voicing it, but if you read the whole thread you should know that prices are around the corner, and products are already listed.. Why settle for a sub par website? It's 2014.

Appearance plays a great deal in how well your products will sell. If I were in the market for an extractor and came across his site only to find a bare layout with subpar web design I would likely be less interested.
