i went to the emerald cup after party at area 101 yesterday and was able to smoke the black lime strain. the breeders brought a bag of choice outdoor and in a word, phenomenal!
it had the richest lime flavor that just laid in your mouth for ever and the high was deceptive. you were so into the taste you forgot how high you were getting. beautiful developed effects and a flavor that was unreal.
what premium cannabis is about.

i got to see a full size cola. jackson broke off fat nugs and all of us at the table rolled our own joint of it. stunner. it was the mom of the seed stock. he knows im sifting the stock for public access and wanted me to know what to look for in the seeds. the public usually doesnt get to smoke ganja this rich truth be told.
when you crack into your pack and start to sift phenos let me know and ill tell you which ones smell like the mom. might even have to test it for you too
ill work on this line next. the og78 and cdsr are coming along nicely. you are going to be very happy with your choice gemfinder.

i think its a old line out of long valley in mendo. very distinct terpenes. smoke it once and you will see. the seeds are the lime crossed to cdsr maybe? look up aficianado seeds and the info is there. its either a cd x lime or a cdsr x lime.
i didnt take any pics. i was too busy enjoying the ganja with my friends. when i do the sift ill post the keeper though.
the question im asking is the topanga canyon pure kush related to this old strain? the tpk is limey, hence, unique for an og and the lime was just straight unique. you dont see this flavor combo ever, very rare. im not stating it is, i just wonder...

old oil can lines from back in the day i believe. the first of the fuel terp types. i didnt dig into it too much. i was trying to see what the lime was about so i would be able to see it in the progeny. it would add to a lot of afghani lines that lost their flavor over the years due to selection of low odor plants from the late 90S.
the cherry lime aid they did is way more robust and pronounced. it explodes out of the bag and actually made me think of a term called projection scent. it poured out of the jar and took over the room. for me it is too strong for mixing into the older lines as it would or could dominate and there goes the earthy true kush tone. the cherry lime aid doesnt need a thing to be mixed with as she is complete. that girl stands on her own two feet in every catagory and took 3rd i think from the emerald cup. i judged it, it was legit.
the black lime is older in its tone. not as in your face as the lime aid but ever present. mid october finish with a solid bud set. with out a doubt im looking for a male out of this line to hit some of the older lines that need some help. i would run the cherry lime aid as a cut. its in the upper echelon of elites in terms of quality. and no, i do not have it either lol. i wish.

we carry their stock as does a club in hopland, elemental wellness i believe? harborside in oakland and sparc in san francisco also carry the lines. the og78 is sold out completely. ill crack into the black lime wednesday when i get to work. more than likely ill open up that plus the white cashmere and cherry pie hybrid.
gamja rebel seeds came by last week and dropped off a grip of new stock and i want to open a few of those up too. the 5g red line he works with is a stunner. too much new stock to work lol

I'll check the shop on Wednesday and let you know. The 5 g red lines have been very well received by the public over the last three years. This is the f3. The yellow line too. Straight fire in that line.

any thing involving the emerald cup is fun. the event is a reflection of tim and his values. i really dig that us in humboldt, the crew in mendo and the rest of the region get to hang out and see whats new in our respective worlds. we are ganjier my man, the people of cannabis culture. the cup brings us all together to celebrate that fact.
there are a lot of fantastic lines from all over the country. i look forward to seeing them make their way into the world. we might have more than the normal due to the amount of time we have had collecting and working the lines but we are not alone, not in any way. fascinating times...

so far so good. the early veg tests came back from the lab and the plants are growing beautifully. i have a male from the cdsr that just reeks like chem and the og78 has a male that reeks like an og. the females are good looking too. very consistent in form compared to each other. in the lab testing i found a high cbd version of the og78 too. should be fun to test.
i havent cracked the black lime yet. very soon. i have been sorting out a l13x afi hybrid and i just got done with that project so on to the lime next. the white cashmere is calling me too...

i havent tried the blueberry muffin pheno but i have smoked others blue berry muffin pheno plants and they always smell like the muffin mix from the box with the tiny blueberries.
i dont have a cut of the 5 g red. i sifted a cut of the 5 g blue line for the public and i think the rebel has a red clone for me to share but i havent gotten it from him yet. the 5g red line has had a great come back buy the last 3 years meaning all who bought bought again and then again.

I'm searching right this moment for a club/shop carrying their line without driving to the bay, particularly the Black Lime. Although, I'd just about kill for that '78 L.A.... it just sounds almost too good to be true.
