Denver HTCC 2014 Who's Going?

Denver HTCC 2014 Who's Going?

Some of us bay area guys were thinking of making a trip out there for this cup. We've had our own gatherings over the last few years, but I think it's time to see what's going on in the first state to legalize and regulate at this level.

I'm looking for any info from people who went last year and are planning to attend this year.

What were the hotels like, where should we get rooms, are we better off getting a house, were people selling seeds last year, places to eat, places to grab a beer, etc....?

If anyone is interested in meeting up out there shoot me a PM. I know there's quite a few people out there that have been holding it down like we have out here.

Best wishes to all and Best of luck.

I want to go so bad, but can't ATM. Next year for sure. These are such major events towards moving federal legalization forward.

Best Wishes to everyone going there!

Thanks for merging the threads. Sounds like the Warwick is the place to be. I was going to get a room at the Westin, because the prices seemed kind of high at the Warwick. Still waiting to hear back from a few people out here who expressed interest.

Looking forward to seeing what's going on out there.

Seems strange that they won't be allowing people to sell herb. My understanding was that the last one in LA was a free for all.

Just bought my tickets and booked my hotel. I'll be out there on Thursday for the industry B2B event. Then Friday to meet some friends and check out a few things. Saturday is the main cup and then Sunday I'm heading home. I won't be sticking around for the awards etc... Looks like a good time is coming.

The cup event last year was overcrowded and crazy. The gatherings are the reason I'm going this year.

Super jealous. I was planning to go, but decided to upgrade my grow instead. Still visiting Co this year, need to look into some private cups to attend.

I think it's going to be a great time. I bought the one day pass to the cup. I've never gone, not even to the ones out in the bay, and I'm sure it will be a mad house.

For anyone who went last year. Is it best to just show up super early or late to reduce the wait time?

I really just want to see how the climate has changed out there compared to the bay. I feel the only way to really get a feel is to actually go out there and see it in person.

The line for non VIP last year was at least 3 hours. The location has changed so maybe not as bad this year. Earlier was better.

Thanks. I think I'll try and show up early to check it out before it gets too crazy.

There is also a gem/mineral/fossil show going on that weekend right near the Denver Mart for anyone who might be interested. I'll be checking that out as well.
