Colombian Gold and Mangobiche.

Colombian Gold and Mangobiche.

Awesome thread, heres a few pics of some authentic Colombian Sativas grown last time I was down here in Colombia. Ima big fan of soft sun drying, especially the Colombian Gold. I had heard of sun drying in Mexico and Santa Marta but had never really tried myself until it happened by accident. Although the weather in Colombia is great for growing, it also has a downside, the humidity. Mold is common during rainy seasons and even the drying process can be complicated by mold. I used to dry in a bamboo shack for a few weeks depending on the weather, then move them inside. One time I guess I dropped a cola in the shack and didnt find it until several weeks later. It smelled and looked awesome!!! Much better than the rest of that lot! If only I had dried the whole crop that way, oh well, live and learn.

last summer

last summer

These were taken end of Oct. I was not going to do any outside but it is fun to see how big the plant gets. Maybe only one and then I will have a chance to keep out the bore beetle. You guys have been really great on this thread a big Mahalo. This plant made great bubble and oil. It has a pine smell real strong too.

That first picture just makes me drool! Thank You

By the way. Is there such a thing in Columbia, as 'Pot Tourism'?

They are calling people who come to Colo. 'Pot tourists'now. Are the hotels friendly or 'NO SMOKING' , like here?

Thx for the heads up. Just a 'survey says', looking at places that I might want to vacation.

Retired in Colorado already, I'm not sure where I might want to go.

From what I hear, I need to clean up my act before driving across the state line. I hear the Cornshucker Staters are lurking, looking for Greenies with shit on board. Magine that.

Curing Secret

Curing Secret

yep...charlie´s meao male :tiphat:

Random bud of Colombian Moños Rojos @ 43ºN...harvested last November

Raco,

O.K., that does it. I know this thread is about showing off Sativas, but I have to ask what is your secret for curing. Your bud is at most 3 months since harvest and the cure looks pretty well along already. Before my buds start looking noticeably well cured is about 6 months.

Spread the knowledge good buddy, please. Even if it's just posting a link to a description that is close to the method you use.

The best/quickest I have ever done is a few weeks using the sweat cure method. I consider myself lucky, since it seems so potentially dangerous to the final product.

Here is a picture of one that worked out extremely well using the basic jar method that most people use:

Thanks,

Purple Haze Malawi feminized. 10-11 weeks (I guess).

Terpene, if mine goes 20, I'll be surprised...but we will see. Still got some legs, for sure. It's a beast in the cab.

She looks special. I can't wait to give this one a try. It's a spicy sweet aroma with hints of musky incense.

Here's my Purple Haze Thai x F13...

It's got that haze rubbery hint but continues to get more floral ala it's rose absolute smelling father...

...and a sativa hybrid, the Strawberry Diesel

She's delicious, leaning toward the sour diesel in structure and aroma with a definite berry kiss.
