Good points ,
Yes there can be great outdoor bud grown on THE bc coast.
Unfortunately yes, between rippers, and choppers its a challenge.
But I for one also hate the cheapbc indoor beasties out there

If I see another dense pk or "Kush" bud I'm gonna puke, talk about boring and tasteless.
I'm glad all the bs designated growers and fake patients are getting a wake up call.

Yet another unsatisfied, not plugged-in with the right people, salty RECREATIONAL user.

Just the type of loser the LPs are trying to harvest for their 6$ grams of another type of beast.

I'm glad you don't smoke good, and won't in the future

bigbag I will absolutely speak the way it has been here in VAN BC for many years now. I couldn't give two shits if you have a crop here and there that is good. I would rather have crops that are good all the time not just once in a blue moon. As far as growing here outdoors seeing as though I have done that for many years here I would say I'm pretty good at seeing what happens to crops here in BC's weather day in day out. I am not that big of fan of Texada Timewrap or atleast the shit I have had that was supposed to be TT. Not really that great imvho. If the Island gets great bud I'm all for that ,,,but it doesn't make it to the mainland and the SHIT they have been selling on our mainland SUCKS BALLS!!!!! stay frosty headband 707:biggrin:
BTW the absolute best place I have seen in BC outdoors is Lillooet BC

headband 707 please don't speak for all of BC in re to outdoor quality. the gulf islands and Vancouver island have plenty of very dank strains, many based on Texada Timewarp, that anybody thats' puffed will tell you it's as good as anything out there ! hippy islands like Lasquiti and Cortes have more well worked outdoor lines than you can shake a stick at . as well, on a good season, these areas enjoy a Mediterranean like climate. there are coastal micro climates that have very low annual precipitation. I've even seen prickly pear cacti on one island;) what is it that you seek, that's currently unavailable ? even tho it's primarily all kush, there are lot's of cultivars floating around BC

This is what happens when you rely on others for what you want. You get what they want not what you want. The choices you make affect whatcha got. Peace GS

ps. Timewarp, done on a year when it can go to end of 1st week of October, beats any local outdoor bud I have puffed. Even those years, I rarely see most folks hit her right. Oh ya and so few have the real deal any more, chances are most have not encountered her, but a Fed knock etc.

I live on Vancouver island and most ppl around here grow the texadatimewarp. I grew her last year and she did well for me besides alittle mold but we had shitty weather. Just my 2 cents!

timewarp was some of the dankest herb i was blessed to smoke even in late september early october in the laurentians. The colors, aroma and exquisite long lasting high are amazing. can t even imagine what she must be like on texada....

Lots of folks think they have timewarp but very few actually do from what i have seen, The name game. For about 8-10 years i have had the timewarp cutting from the original crew{my neighbor was the son of the guy who brought the seed to the island}. And she takes some talent and big sun to get to the olala place./ Anyways i love growing her inside too. Beautiful weeds. Things changed on the island when the choppers started, they started growing along the tree line to hide the plants form the choppers and not in full sun, so we had a lot of folks saying o the timewarp is no good or it has lost its ummff. Truth is the situation changed and less where growing her in full direct sun light. Great in crosses too, she passes great outdoor traits.

miss her little tri-leaflets...
I did enjoy growing her inside, blander than out, but amazing still.

vapor, even in all day sun, on Texada, the Timewarp "twister" clone, is not near what it was in the 90's...still good herbs, but is a PM magnet and is hard to get the type of yields she once pulled ( 2 lbs per swamp tube ). as for crosses, yes it's a good base line, but having grown hundreds of TW x seedlings, I've rarely seen plants better or even as good as the cut ;)

personally, i have had 1.5lbs plants in my garden. And the year the cops chopped{last season} i was inline to smash that with the size they where running into flower{50 gal}. I know how those guys on the island grow{chemy organic mix/way to heavy organic mixes} and they use way to much ferts, i have been in gardens at fert cook/planting/harvesto time. Especially in flower, it changes the way the plant runs, that's what i have experienced. That's why i don't think the plant does as well on texada anymore{all of them share the same mixes around the island and they suck}. As for crosses i grew out 60 seeds of the timewarp nepalese cray made and i found a couple great plants one is still humming and she is just as good as the timewarpy, some like her better, i believe the folks at the Victoria club ask for her by name.....The pm issue is easily solved by milk asa sprays every 10 days or so. Too i understand why you feel that way cause we see a lot of crappy warp these daze.

lol let me guess, you are a broker?

i saw a few guys try to pull that card when washington went legal and started low balling the next day. jokers like that are going to get squeezed so bad when the MMAR ends, for good reason to.

stuffs moving now and prices went up a few bucks accordingly, still flooded though. i am predicting it takes 6 months from now and supply will be dwindling, demand will be the same. hope all the brokers out there are being fair to the farms

Yep typical low-baller broker talk. Some folks pay farmers decent prices, especially when things go up, and things are going up...a little. Pass on the love, there's enough to go around and when things get tight folks remember.
